Being a big Skoda fan, I joined Briskoda in 2008, I have always promoted Skodas as my companies first choice engineers car primarily the Superb Estate. And they have always been reliable and capable. We therefore had no worries when one of our employees opted to go fully electric with an Enyaq 85X Sportline contracted via VWFS. Upon delivery it was soon apparent the heater did not work. It went in to our local dealer who tried to fix with software updates but to no avail and a new heater was ordered. Alas all heaters are allocated to new build vehicles with no scheduled delivery date available. We took delivery last week in March and this issue is still not resolved some 3 months later. Skoda uk have been most unhelpful as has the local dealer as he sees it as a Skoda uk issue. I am currently rejecting the car with VWFS which is a hard task in itself as no one ever responds. Their 8 week deadline for a decision is up at end of June and as yet a case handler has not even been assigned. We currently have had a brand new car for 3 months which we cannot use. We are a company so the financial implications are manageable, I can’t imagine the hassles and stress if you were a private buyer. A lot of our competitors are going for Chinese manufacturers for their electric fleet, I may be tempted to join them!
