  1. Use a strong dose of APC brushed on,then rinse,should sort it.
  2. I take the blades off and clean using a old toothbrush and fairy liquid, job done.
  3. GSF have a 41% off everything promotion till sun 13 march, code march 41 if this helps.
  4. Try Euro car parts or GSF,I am sure they could do a better price.
  5. I had the same problem on a mk 2 Passat 1.6 td, oil cooler was £30 exchange from a VW dealer,biggest problem is cleaning the oil sludge from the rad and pipes.I tried loads of cleaners and ending up using a pint of traffic film remover mixed with water, a ten mile run and a good flush cured it.
  6. Asda sell in the car section,around £7.00 for 3ltrs branded Redex.
  7. Check out Frost of rochdale, they sell quality american paints .
  8. £26.00 for 5ltr 504.00/507.00 spec for Asda's own brand.
  9. I have always used VW 507.00, never need to top up between yearly changes.
  10. Try Millers or Redex injector cleaner,might help.
  11. I had a similar problem on a mk2 passat ,tried a lot of different products but a pint of traffic film remover added to the coolant and a 10 mile blast down the motorway cleared all the crap out.
  12. liquid oven hob cleaner put on with a damp rag then polish off,couldn't believe how clean it left my screen.

    Has anybody tried the Autosmart MFs,not cheap but superior quality to Eurows.
