I think the body shop will lend you a car for a fault accident but not sure if it would cost extra to insure it. Defo worth signing up or though.

Well I am a driving instructor and teach in a Skoda Fabia 1.4tdi. I have been very pleased with it.

Local indi garage quoted £325 and Skoda main dealer quoted £285 for the cambelt change which does not sound to bad. Thanks for the advice. Cheers James

Hi, Just noticed that my Wifes Roomster even when warm, on start up the engine is idling at around 1300 rpm. As soon as I blip the throttle it goes down to under 1000rpm. Turn the engine on again and it is back to 1300rpm on idle. It has onnly recently started to do this. 1.9 tdi engine? Any ideas. I have read it could be water temp sensor? Thanks James

Hi, A few weeks ago I noticed that when trying to use the rear washer on my Wifes Roomster you can here the pump spinning but no water comes out. The front washers work fine? This was before the deep freeze set in. Any ideas what it could be or where I should check if simple (I am not very mechanicaly minded) other wise I think it will be a trip to the garage. Thanks James
