Thanks for that. They'd have a hell of a job trying to start it as it won't under normal circumstances. It only comes on when extra power is needed or the battery is depleted.

I,m asking any MOT testers here about the difference in an MOT test on a Hybrid vehicle to a normal vehicle? My Lexus CT is due an MOT in just over a month and i,m just going to get it checked over before hand.I,m new to Hybrids so was just wondering what differences there are in testing. Many thanks.

Agree. They don't have "Sport" suspension. It's an accessory fitment after. This was mine after fitment and they were the wrong springs fitted. It's a so called 30mm drop. Before these it looked like a 4x4 definitely not a Sport look. I'm so glad this car is at the other end of this country. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That's a shame about the Octavia. I lost all faith with Skoda when I bought my Rapid Sport new. That was a nightmare and I hated it. That's when I decided to get something different. Stick with Skoda because a MK3 is a good move. A garage I used ruined my MK1 Octy and I had the same feeling as you about the car. I got a MK2 tdi I had for 7 years and was faultless. My Lexus CT is 5 years old and an lease car. It did have 62K miles when I got it. It's been serviced by Lexus right up to this mileage and no warranty work/claims. It's as good as new condition and all the leather inside is in perfect condition. I checked out the previous owner/driver of this car. It was a lady who worked for a company that sold medical supplies to hospitals. I'm really pleased with the car and it is faultless. Obviously do all the research first before you buy.
