  1. You should try to rotate the pink plug. Rotating it acts like a lever - and moves the whole plug out of the amp.
  2. You will be surprised how many parts for all VAG (and not only) - are assembled in different countries. I work in a company that supplies all factories (BMW, Daimler, Ford, GM, VAG, PSA - and others) - with parts for the assembly lines. Almost 80% of the parts are produced outside of Czech.
  3. With me front is Led strip - combining DRL and turn signal. I have no clue what is the bulb type for the models without strip. I suppose it is the same again as the rear, but you need to recheck.
  4. @Don_Diego Hi mate, congrats for the choice of the car. There's been a lot written here in this thread - and i tried a lot of options on my car (also on some other friends' cars. I removed my Philips X-treme led turn signals and put another much better option - bought from Aliexpress. Honestly i did not expect them to shine as good as the Philips and i was a little bit afraid of the errors that could appear on the dash - but everything is working great, the light is better "spreaded" as the bulbs are 360 degree leds - while the Philips is 2 chips only. There is a small blank spot because the 2 chips on the Philips cannot make real 360 degree light. These ones - already mounted on several cars of friends - all of them are pretty happy with the result. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/LED-1156-P21W-BA15S-PY21W-BAU15S-T20-7440-bulbs-for-Car-taillight-Turn-Signal-lamp-Yellow/32864774603.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.24f34c4dTzyatN (И да пуснеш снимки на красавицата като я вземеш ;-) - Please share with us some pictures when collect the car)
  5. @Boxerdog1 Hi, does it fit 100% correct ? As far as i know there is a difference in both front and rear ones. The size afaik is the same but the shape of the emblem (curved) - is not the same. In Superskoda site - it is written that the emblem is for front only.
  6. I just got my led LOGOs for the front doors. I am a little bit confused whether to leave them on the car or to get back to the old lights (led).
  7. For sure it will give you a warning for both missing bulbs. What is the reason to have a red turning signal using the regular rear lights ? If you want to have more simple outside look - you can still put red bulbs on the place of the current yellow (amber) ones. But i do not think it is a good idea to stay only with the rear red lights without the bulb, you can mislead the people behind you - there is a big chance that someone will not understand that you are actually giving a turn light. For me (personal opinion) - i do not like this mod - and i do not think it is OK.
  8. Hi Guys, I will use this topic as i have one question regarding these "whiskers". I have the SLA - and it works great. But what exactly is the main purpose of these whiskers ? I see them light up when i start the lights of the car - they are pretty nice. I also see the "dancing lights" while they calibrate on start-up. But i think this dancing light is made from the D3S xenons - with some lens inside, but not from these whiskers. Do they actually light up steadily and just shine - and the Xenon is making the dimming and the whole effect of the SLA ? Or these whiskers also project lights - and make the whole "magic" ?
  9. @Lee M Sorry - i have no DAB Radio - and cannot give you any information.
  10. These are the housing and the PCB with the small LED. Anyway - the small LED itself give less light than the standard halogen bulb - and this is the reason that i want to upgrade a little bit the light output. And due to the different connection - the female power plug that powers the footwell is different.
  11. Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and connect it back. Try this
  12. In fact - the light coming from the halogen footwell is much stronger than the LED footwell. I have seen Superb 3V with halogen ones - the light is stronger - and not only that - it is somehow more diffused - while with the LED - the light is only strong just under the housing. On left and Right - it is very weak. I want in general to have the same light but on a more large area. Something like the boot led light - a plate wish several LEDs - but i will decrease the light - not to have a stronger light - but to have the same light spread on a larger area.
  13. Yes - they are at highest level. I want to make them a little more bright.
