  1. You should try to rotate the pink plug. Rotating it acts like a lever - and moves the whole plug out of the amp.
  2. You will be surprised how many parts for all VAG (and not only) - are assembled in different countries. I work in a company that supplies all factories (BMW, Daimler, Ford, GM, VAG, PSA - and others) - with parts for the assembly lines. Almost 80% of the parts are produced outside of Czech.
  3. With me front is Led strip - combining DRL and turn signal. I have no clue what is the bulb type for the models without strip. I suppose it is the same again as the rear, but you need to recheck.
  4. @Don_Diego Hi mate, congrats for the choice of the car. There's been a lot written here in this thread - and i tried a lot of options on my car (also on some other friends' cars. I removed my Philips X-treme led turn signals and put another much better option - bought from Aliexpress. Honestly i did not expect them to shine as good as the Philips and i was a little bit afraid of the errors that could appear on the dash - but everything is working great, the light is better "spreaded" as the bulbs are 360 degree leds - while the Philips is 2 chips only. There is a small blank spot because the 2 chips on the Philips cannot make real 360 degree light. These ones - already mounted on several cars of friends - all of them are pretty happy with the result. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/LED-1156-P21W-BA15S-PY21W-BAU15S-T20-7440-bulbs-for-Car-taillight-Turn-Signal-lamp-Yellow/32864774603.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.24f34c4dTzyatN (И да пуснеш снимки на красавицата като я вземеш ;-) - Please share with us some pictures when collect the car)
  5. @Boxerdog1 Hi, does it fit 100% correct ? As far as i know there is a difference in both front and rear ones. The size afaik is the same but the shape of the emblem (curved) - is not the same. In Superskoda site - it is written that the emblem is for front only.
  6. I just got my led LOGOs for the front doors. I am a little bit confused whether to leave them on the car or to get back to the old lights (led).
  7. For sure it will give you a warning for both missing bulbs. What is the reason to have a red turning signal using the regular rear lights ? If you want to have more simple outside look - you can still put red bulbs on the place of the current yellow (amber) ones. But i do not think it is a good idea to stay only with the rear red lights without the bulb, you can mislead the people behind you - there is a big chance that someone will not understand that you are actually giving a turn light. For me (personal opinion) - i do not like this mod - and i do not think it is OK.
  8. Hi Guys, I will use this topic as i have one question regarding these "whiskers". I have the SLA - and it works great. But what exactly is the main purpose of these whiskers ? I see them light up when i start the lights of the car - they are pretty nice. I also see the "dancing lights" while they calibrate on start-up. But i think this dancing light is made from the D3S xenons - with some lens inside, but not from these whiskers. Do they actually light up steadily and just shine - and the Xenon is making the dimming and the whole effect of the SLA ? Or these whiskers also project lights - and make the whole "magic" ?
  9. @Lee M Sorry - i have no DAB Radio - and cannot give you any information.
  10. These are the housing and the PCB with the small LED. Anyway - the small LED itself give less light than the standard halogen bulb - and this is the reason that i want to upgrade a little bit the light output. And due to the different connection - the female power plug that powers the footwell is different.
  11. Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and connect it back. Try this
  12. In fact - the light coming from the halogen footwell is much stronger than the LED footwell. I have seen Superb 3V with halogen ones - the light is stronger - and not only that - it is somehow more diffused - while with the LED - the light is only strong just under the housing. On left and Right - it is very weak. I want in general to have the same light but on a more large area. Something like the boot led light - a plate wish several LEDs - but i will decrease the light - not to have a stronger light - but to have the same light spread on a larger area.
  13. Yes - they are at highest level. I want to make them a little more bright.
  14. This housing is using halogen bulb - and changing with LED is easy - but the cars that are with LED footwell lights - use instead of halogen bulb - a PCB with a small LED assembled. It has 2 metal pins - soldered to the board.
  15. Hi guys - i have some thoughts in my head regarding the footwell lights. The original ones are LED - inside the "light box" - there is a small printed circuit board with a tiny SMD led - soldered. The led is somehow small and the light output is not so great. I tried with the replacement that we all use in the trunk (the ones from SuperSkoda and Aliexpress but the plastic cover is somehow bigger - and i need to make cuts on the front surroundings - which is not a problem. The rear are put in the metal bottom part of the front seats - facing the rear floor mats. This i cannot (honestly i can but i do not want) cut - as it is a metal surrounding. Any way - the PCB with the LED - has two small metal pins - which are used to make contact with the light connection. Has someone seen or found a way to upgrade a little bit this PCB ? Changing with a regular led bulb maybe ? The problem is that the new led bulb sockets - have to be used to connect to the original power supply. Later i will post a photo of the PCB itself. Thanks in advance for the ideas and suggestions.
  16. @Apexor Now i see thy you have errors - these are only 4 Watts. The ones that i ordered are : Led bulbs - Claimed to be 52 Watts (both) - so 26 Watts each bulb. I do not know if there are real values - but they work great - the light beam is very strong - much stronger than the original ones - and the light is 1:1 as a color - with the xenons.
  17. @Apexor Please post a link to the bulbs in Aliexpress to see what type they are. Mine work perfectly and i have no issues with errors for them. If you want i will post a link to mine - which are 4300 Kelvins - exactly the same color temp like the xenons (as the others 6000K - are more blueish compared to the xenons)
  18. What exactly is the benefit of this Coasting function ? It is something like the car is in Neutral gear - when i do not press the pedal of the gas. The only benefit that i see is - that during the coasting the gearbox is not rotating (if it can be said this way) - and there are less rotating and killing speed car parts - which allows the car to drive more on its own inertia - compared to the situation when the car is for example on 4th (or any other speed) gear. Is this the only thing that is different compared to the Normal and Comfort mode ?
  19. The first professional bath for my beauty with the products of Gtechniq.. (Wheels removed, arches are fully cleaned, the engine bay fully cleaned) Following polishing, and after that - Coating with Crystal Serum - and last but not least over coating with EXOv4 Ultra Durable Hydrophobic Coating. All trims will be restored with Permanent Trim Restorer C4. Photos from the detailing shop will follow :-) I am very excited to see the final result...
  20. Ah now i understand. In Bulgaria - where i am from, there is no way that someone can find out the name of the owner or the vehicle history by the plate number. Only people with some government or state access can check and find this information - located in a database.
  21. Why, what is the reason ? I have always thought what may be the reason for this hiding the plates - as the car is every day on the streets - and everybody can see the plates for free. Not arguing or anything like this - just asking for curiosity.
  22. You can try this one. Just remove the top parts - and i think you will have a nice cup holder (adapter) Cup Holder
  23. Can someone please post a picture of this button ? I really cannot understand where exactly it is located. Thanks
