I've been gone for a fair few year's so thought I better say HELLO to ya.

GGU It is then. Put one of those searches out online though 247 spares before knowing gearbox code. Do they know what gearbox code? Or they using anyone of the 3 listed on an earlier link? Will any of the 3 fit? I understand the GGU was fitted to the later models but are they different to say the EWT gearbox. Sorry lots of questions but don't want to get my fingers burnt.

morning all. The wifes gearbox has took a dislike to her Fabia and decided there not going to work together. Does anyone know what gearbox code I'm looking for? It's a 2005 Fabia 1.9TDI Elegance,  myself and car are far apart at the moment so can't look at car, I can get to see the sticker later on when the other half gets to the garage if that helps?

The Superb is being traded on Saturday so being returned to standard.

MKI Superb rear facelift light lens.

Being looking on that old auction site and there up for around £25 posted per side. So how does £35 posted for the pair sound?

Excellent used condition look much better than early lights in my opinion.

Does not come with washer/nuts but I used the ones off my original lights but obviously they are now back on the original lens on the car.

 

Also I have some MKI Superb rear window and rear side window shades these are in good condition. Only thing I found was the clips that fit at the top we're weak and broke. Had a look through my tool box and found the push in type fuse holder from some plugs which have stood the test of time. These fit the window sizes perfectly. 6 window pieces total can't get last picture on due to file size limits.

 

Offers will be looked at on these as I haven't a clue what there worth.

The wifes Fabia 2001 (Y) 1.9 SDI comfort is looking for a new home.

It runs it drives it has MOT till feb 17 122000ish

A/C doesn't work, rear wash wipe doesn't work nor does the barrel in the passanger door but central locking works from the drivers door. Drivers seat cover has a tear in it but I have slid an identical original cover over the top to prevent further damage.

Electric windows work,  replaced tyre on O/S/F in the last day.

Overall its not in bad condition for age.

Happened twice in last 3 months.

 

car cuts out while coming to a standstill and then wont start comes up code 16688 intermitent misfire Cylinder no4.

Had a new loom three years ago a reconditioned engine 2 years ago.

Car has 233000 miles and looking at service history and all paperwork it has never appeared to have a fuel pump.

Am I clutching at straws or am I looking down the injector route?
