Thanks to all who gave advice. Got the parts for the PCV tonight and replaced it, what a difference! Got the EML light turned off too, so hopefully that's it resolved

So a single carriageway B road, you come to a car in front travelling at a slower speed, you look ahead for a safe place to overtake free of hazards. you choose you point to overtake and commit to the offside to start the manouvere, which is the only place to move. You then want to complete the manouvere so you go from offside to nearside, which again is the only option. From what you have stated it reads to me that you wouldnt indicate any intentions when commiting to a new lane or changing your path in traffic? -

An indication should always be given on a skip road to a dual-carriageway or a motorway. Even though you do only have one exit route, you cannot be sure all other drivers on the main carriageway are aware of your presence. Due to this its a benefit of a flashing indicator to increase your visability to these road users. Its the same given when changing lanes or overtaking, You indicate in and out even though you only have one place to go on each point of the manvouvere. -

Had the engine cover off and I have heard air being sucked in through the pipe on the round black circle in the picture. When I cover the small pipe on the right the engine struggles and stalls. It also sounds like a pop is coming from inside it. Any ideas? Is this the same part as above? As it looks different on the side.

Does anyone have a link to a replacement pcv? I contacted awesome who advised me of something completely different, which was... I would personally go for the ECS replacement kit as listed here: http://www.awesomegti.com/car/vw/golfmk5/ecs-oem-breather-update-kit-mk5-gti-pas-b6-jetta-2-0t Is this the same thing? Just like to say happy new yer to everyone, and hope that 2013 is a good one. Finally managed to get a mate to do a scan for fault codes on the car Three came up, they were P0441 P0100 P0441 (PENDING) Any idea what they mean? Car is still doing as it done before and now has a very, very rough idle.

Should have said its a mk2 vrs petrol. Got injector cleaner so will try that. Ill give the throttle body a clean too while I'm at it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
