I would suggest more smaller memory cards. If one dies for any reason you haven't lost as many pictures and you have another to put in the camera. I use 16Gb in a 70D and get over 300 JPEG and RAW pictures on the each card. Lots of second hand lens on the market you just need to decide on what you want to photograph and get the appropriate one(s). Just my tuppence worth

I would like to add please go to a rescue centre some of the puppies you buy are "from farmed dogs". At our local centre there are 2 bitches that have been abandoned as they can't breed any more. Please think about all the dogs needing a new forever home before giving hard earned money to puppy farms

If you know someone with VCDS it can be enabled on a face lift model. I did it on mine. I think that a DSG model, with stop start, without hill hold is borderline dangerous

The way of life is very different across the 3 services. I was in the RAF and spent several months on tri-service training courses run by the Army, and for a more "informal" approach to military discipline, I would suggest trying the RAF or Royal Navy first

I have coded this on my face lift 2.0TDI 4x4 DSG and it works!

I have had mine for 8 months and have just gone round 23,000 miles, returning average of 44mpg including several trips towing a 1600 kg caravan. Slightly less than my 170 FWD pre facelift

Last two or three cars have had the facility to fold the mirrors in by holding down the remote locking button. My Superb had it until recently but it appears not to work any more. I have tried it with the door switch in every position, they do fold from the door switch. I've tried putting both windows down and up again ( I read on here that resets something KESSY?). The car is a 2012 L&K Combi with KESSY.
Any suggestions anyone?
Try holding the open button down on the remote and see if all 4 windows open. If not power the offending window down fully, using the switch on the driver's door, and back up holding the switch for a few seconds. After it is fully up and this should reset the folding mirror's

It was standard on my f/l elegance in the UK

Thanks very much for the info.
Out of the boot and into the shed it goes then.
Remember the jack and wheel brace

Checked this out with my car and I can read out texts via the Columbus, but still not via the MFD. Any Ideas
I haven't been to dealer yet, service due in next week or two. I had the same phone with both cars so I know it isn't the phone
-
I found this when I changed to a facelift. You can get texts read out via the phone menu in the Columbus. I have highlighted this to my dealer for them to sort out at the upcoming first service. I will let you know if anything changes

I have enabled the large MPH display on my f/l with no problem the same way as with a pre f/l.
-
Get an electrician to do it if you have any reservations at all. Not worth it

I have a f/l and the dash is the same as my pre f/l

If you are ordering a new car with DSG I would say hill hold is a must. I ordered a 170DSG without hill hold and find it borderline dangerous rolling back. I have now enabled it with VCDS and the car is much better

I have gone from a 170DSG estate to a facelift 170DSG 4x4. The difference in traction is incredible, no wheel spin or traction control intervention even with a large caravan (1600kg) on the back. The down side is the MPG has dropped from 44 to 42 average, 82,000 to 7000 miles so it may get better also have towed the caravan for a greater percentage of ownership with the 4x4

I have just traded in a 170 DSG with 82,000 miles on the clock and I averaged 45 mpg including a lot of towing a 1600 kg caravan. Best tank fill was 51 and worst 31 (towing). No problems at all with the gearbox. All mpg measured by brim to brim Maxidot was about 10% optimistic
-
I sold my 170 DSG last month less than 2.5 years old with 82000 miles on the clock and didn't have any problems with it.

Will the park assist know what to do with a 'van on the back?
The park assist is disabled if the towing electrics are in use according to the manual

I noticed you have the dsg 4x4. what mpg are you getting please
I will ring them tomorrow to sort a demo
Thanks
Pete
I am getting around 43 MPG at the moment. It is getting better as the miles increase, at 3000 miles now

Simpsons in Colne have a 4x4 DSG as a demo

Think of the hard drive as filing cabinet. One drawer has maps in, it the second has your music in it and the third has your Points of Interest in it you cannot use the maps drawer to store music or POI's so you only have a certain size of drawer to store each component hope this helps
Superb iV delivery time - advice
in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
Posted
Ordered our L&K iV estate with towbar in July last year with an estimated delivery of November or December, in October this was pushed back to January then March. In March we got a provision build date of 19th July only to be told last month Skoda are realigning production and our build date was withdrawn, still waiting for this months update.
