  1. 2WD with winter tyres is certainly better than 4WD with summers. I was always short of grip whilst playing Colin Mcrae's Rally on the Playstation. I didn't have much luck either, trying to install the Colin Mcrae Helicopter Simulator on my PC. Damn thing kept crashing :(
  2. Maybe the next video will feature mixer taps
  3. I just picked up two of these from the local Skoda dealer. 25€ each. I had checked SuperSkoda, who price them at 55€ each. Shocking really.... that's not a small difference, and Finland isn't exactly a cheap country, certainly not as cheap as the Czech Rep. I have bought stuff from SuperSkoda before, but after seeing the price difference, I will now be shopping around before buying from them again.
  4. My only question is....what was that shower cubicle on the left at around 8.54:30 ???
  5. Do you have any more details on the TPI? Reference number? Or the Part Number for the new pump design?
  6. So someone has told me (no idea if this is true), that OBD II only picks up a realtively small number of codes. This means that many codes just won't show up. Can anyone comment on whether this is true?
  7. I'm pretty sure they just changed the pump. At least they said they have the pump in stock so they can do the work. Anyway, the drive is back on all 4 wheels and with all the snow we have at the moment, it is very welcome.
  8. Can you link an independent and credible source that confirms that? We choose the lowest ethanol % for use in all our engines: cars, chainsaws, bushwhackers, snowblowers, lawn mowers, etc. We made that decision on the back of third hand recommendations about avoiding moisture in fuel and ensuring seal longevity. But new information is always welcome!
  9. I haven't had any noise but my Haldex 5 isn't working. A code showed up in the last service (failing clutch pump) and it will be changed next week. They can't explain why the code wasn't mentioned at the previous service (when the car was still in warranty), and they will therefore do the pump change at their cost. PS We were in Tromsö a few years ago, we arrived on the first day of summer and loved your town, especially the cable car up the mountain! It was all very Where Eagles Dare
  10. 6 speed wet clutch DSG here. No problems in 3 years of ownership. Would never go back to manual now.
  11. A good thought. But I have a snapshot of the codes and the mileage is included - it matches my vehicle's mileage.
  12. The codes were showing during last week's service scan as: P034100 Camshaft position sensor. November 2017 C111204 Haldex clutch pump. October 2016 I've scanned with OBD 11 repeatedly since I got the scanner in June 2017 and haven't seen either code ever. That's what confuses me ... How can they be visible during a service scan, when I haven't ever seen them myself.
