  1. Nice review. I had the opportunity to test a 190 diesel some months ago and I agree with you, It still doesn't feel like it has 190 PS.
  2. Therefore your Superb should be called "Fronkonstin" :D
  3. Are you sure the big SUV is going to be called Kodiak? I've read several times its name will be Snowman. Even if you visit autoscout24.es, it appears between the Skoda model range, although it has't been released yet.
  4. I also had a Volvo S60 from 2005 to 2009, company car. Good car, not so good build quality, horrendous local dealer. In 2009 I moved to Skoda, Superb II twindoor. In 2013 I chose again a Superb, Combi this time. Next year I'll go for a Superb III.
  5. In my previous car, Superb 2 hatch 1.8 TSI DSG, I've never had to refill oil. 140K km so far. TSI are damn good engines.
  6. If you had a test drive for over an hour with no issues, and then with your new car start to feel pain after and hour... it's clearly a question of seat adjustment. First time you didn't feel pain, so I'd bet you need to find a better driving position, it's not as inmediate as people think.
  7. It depends a lot on your driving style. If your driving style is relaxed (which doesn't mean "slow"), you are only going to use the paddles for the first two weeks and only for demonstrating it to your friends and relatives while showing them your car. Later you are going to use them... almost never. But if your driving style is sportive or agressive (which doen't mean "fast"), go for the paddles. Anyway they cannot be retrofitted and it's a fairly cheap option, so my advide is... go for them
  8. I'd bet this is a Sportline: https://media.skoda-auto.com/en/_layouts/Skoda.PRPortal/pressrelease.aspx?ID=964
  9. In my current Superb II Combi I experienced a lot of noise with the previous tyres, Continental by the way. When they were replaced by Dunlop, the noise decreased a lot. And they are 18", so in this case I'd bet for tyre manufacturer as being responsible for the noise.
