  1. Nice review. I had the opportunity to test a 190 diesel some months ago and I agree with you, It still doesn't feel like it has 190 PS.
  2. Therefore your Superb should be called "Fronkonstin" :D
  3. Are you sure the big SUV is going to be called Kodiak? I've read several times its name will be Snowman. Even if you visit autoscout24.es, it appears between the Skoda model range, although it has't been released yet.
  4. I also had a Volvo S60 from 2005 to 2009, company car. Good car, not so good build quality, horrendous local dealer. In 2009 I moved to Skoda, Superb II twindoor. In 2013 I chose again a Superb, Combi this time. Next year I'll go for a Superb III.
  5. In my previous car, Superb 2 hatch 1.8 TSI DSG, I've never had to refill oil. 140K km so far. TSI are damn good engines.
  6. If you had a test drive for over an hour with no issues, and then with your new car start to feel pain after and hour... it's clearly a question of seat adjustment. First time you didn't feel pain, so I'd bet you need to find a better driving position, it's not as inmediate as people think.
  7. It depends a lot on your driving style. If your driving style is relaxed (which doesn't mean "slow"), you are only going to use the paddles for the first two weeks and only for demonstrating it to your friends and relatives while showing them your car. Later you are going to use them... almost never. But if your driving style is sportive or agressive (which doen't mean "fast"), go for the paddles. Anyway they cannot be retrofitted and it's a fairly cheap option, so my advide is... go for them
  8. I'd bet this is a Sportline: https://media.skoda-auto.com/en/_layouts/Skoda.PRPortal/pressrelease.aspx?ID=964
  9. In my current Superb II Combi I experienced a lot of noise with the previous tyres, Continental by the way. When they were replaced by Dunlop, the noise decreased a lot. And they are 18", so in this case I'd bet for tyre manufacturer as being responsible for the noise.
  10. I was tempted to order some goods that were supposed to be free of charge (or at least that was said), but each and every time I tried to finish the order a pretty 9 eur delivery charge appeared. Finally I didn't order anything.
  11. Look really bright! Have you had any bulb fault code or similar after installing them?
  12. According to a spanish automotive web, km77.com, the boot measurements are: Width 101 cm Depth 105 cm Height 55 cm And the boot is quite cubic in its forms, you can see it here: http://www.km77.com/fotos/Skoda/Superb_2015/Skoda-Superb_2015-Gama_Superb-Gama_Superb-Turismo-Interior-Maletero-5_puertas-201504290013.html?modelId=2712&finishId=4079&carType=1&photoType=2&order=2&division=acabado&galleryLimit=99&galleryBackLimit=8
  13. Cassiopeia black wheels, so I presume the car it's fitted with winter tyres. In the german Skoda forum Cassipeia are usually the first choice for winter tyres.
  14. It depends a lot of what type of road (karmac, concrete) are you driving and which type of tyres the car wear. I have recently changed the tyres in my Superb II Combi, 225/40 18. The Continental were too noisy so when they had to be replaced I went for Dunlop. Muuuuuuch quieter. I drove a S3 for a whole day and I found it silent, not noisy at all.
  15. Orange peel can happen in both metallic and no metallic paints.
  16. I had several SAABs (9-3 hatchbak, 9-3 convertible, 9-3 Viggen, 9000 CS and 9-5 SW). Except for the highly problematic Viggen, the rest of them were completely reliable. The first 9-3 (2001 diesel) was a company car. I almost replace it with a 9-5 SW, but that was the time of the Viggen nightmare, worsened by the local dealer incompetence, so I decided to go for a Volvo. In 2006 I bought a second hand 2000 9-5 SW for my wife. Roomy and comfortable, we replaced it two years ago for a 2009 Mazda 6 diesel. We still miss it. Rest of them were particular cars: a 1993 9000 CS, with the legendary 2.3 turbo engine; a 2000 Viggen bought in 2004 that was a nightmare, and I decided to swap it for a 2005 9-3 convertible 2.0T 210 HP. Absolutely great and fantastic. When my wife got pregnant in 2008 she didn't want a convertble so I sold it and bought a 2001 Jaguar XK8. Another nightmare, being sold a year later after an engine replacement. I missed Saab :'(
