Screw in the tyre of Enyaq
I accidentally spotted a screw on the front tyre of Pirelli Tyre. No pressure warning and might have been there for some time. It's my understanding tha tthese are self-sealing (whatever that means) so question is do you think I should get a screwdriver and get it out or would you bring it to a tyre shop?

Area view (360) question
Our Enyaq Sportline was delivered in July. There's one camera in front and back and small cameras on the each sider mirror. However, the area view wasn't available to order at the time I thought (or else I missed it). Wondering can the area view be software-coded (enabled) owing to the fact that the cameras are there or is itmore complicated than that?

Delivery lead-time
heard from the dealer that the car has left the plant as of 5th May. Mater of waiting now. I guess at least 5 weeks for the car to make it to Germany and then the boat...

Wiring harnesses have started being produced again a few days ago so hopefully they will commence production even sooner…

Delivery lead-time
spoke to the dealer today so an order from Nov, scheduled for built at week 10 will be delayed. Optimistic predictions are that I might get the car i August

Delivery lead-time
on an Irish forum (boards.ie) someone claimed they spoke to a dealer and the semiconductor issue appears to be resolved but wiring looms from Ukraine are an issue and they anticipate 9 weeks delay until Skoda sources them from elsewhere

Delivery lead-time
when did you place your order @Robrad30?

Delivery lead-time
the company also makes these wiring looms in Serbia, Morocco etc. Not sure if they can ramp up production. It appears all german manufacturers are also affected (Porsche, BMW, VW group etc.) wow. That's shocking! Their degree of communication is appalling TBH. You need to beg them for an answers. I can understand the implication of semiconductor delay and even wiring components owing to the Russian invasion of Ukraine but keep the channels of communication open

Irish customer here. Ordered an Enyaq SportLine 80 (with quite a lot of extras) in early Nov and just heard that it has been allocated a build week of 10 so it should be built during the week commencing 07 March. Hopefully the car will be with me by mid-April

Wireless Charging - The Phone box
as I am waiting for confirmation of build date, can anyone confirm whether an iPhone 13 ProMax with a slim case will fit/charge in the wireless pad?

Enyaq SportLine: order placed-thoughts
Thanks @chopper85 ID.4 already has a better sound system. We have a panoramic sunroof in the current SportLine and the family love it (opens a few times year in reflection and probably incrases drag signifficantly but it brings in additional sense of light. the rear airbags ordered TBH just for a sense of safety for family in teh back. In Ireland, the Family pack is not available on teh SportLine so I guess teh kids will be charging their phones from either a battery pack or I need to get 2 cables from the boot! When did you order/what is the lead time

Enyaq SportLine: order placed-thoughts
After weighing my options and having shortlisted Enyaq and ID.4, I decided to bite the bullet and place an order today. Colour - Moon White Metallic Wheels - 20” ‘Vega’ anthracite alloy wheels Packs - Driver assistance plus pack - Climate plus pack - Comfort pack Plus - Convenience plus pack - Drive sport pack - Infotainment plus pack Safety and Driver Assistance Rear curtain airbags Functional Items Panoramic sunroof Heat pump I have until Wednesday if I change my mind and want to add/remove something. Apparently, the lead times have improved somewhat so I might get my car by March/April My current car is a 2018 Superb SportLine, 2.0 L, TSI, 280 hp, 4x4 and I will totally miss myCanton sound system. The audio on teh Enyaq is very average whereas the Superb was exceptional there. The SportLine is the best car I ever drove TBH (probably one of the few of such spec in Ireland) but it's going to be traded in against a new Enyaq

Enyaq - rear USB sockets not working
Just wondering has anyone thought of a more elegant solution? In Ireland, you get the 2x USB-C ports only if you order the family pack which is over 300 euro. It's crazy how they have cut corners as inserting 2 USB ports at the back of the centre console wouldn't cost more than 5 euro

Enyaq ceramic coated
looks impressive (just seeing the post now)

I may have set an Octavia IV record...
It's very unusual for Skoda to have such major issues. Our contract is I guess with the dealer and not with Skoda in various countries. We were driving the other day and the seatbelt warning light and audio signal started beeping even though were both strapped in. It went on for 5 min and went away. The speaker for the audible beep when you reverse must be located in the B pillar as it has started making a lot of noise at times when I reverse. It sounds as if though it's broken...

I may have set an Octavia IV record...
Something similar to your experience. We got a call from the dealership stating multiple software updates so to bring the car in. It was with them for best part of the day. Issues we weer experiecing is reverse sensors not working and some small intermittent issues When I picked the car, was told that I would have to bring it back as they had to order a replacement bit of hardware, the OCU (onlince services control unit). Not sure what this does but have been waiting for it for teh best part of a amonth as it has to arrive from Germany! On receipt of the car, the Carplay wouldnt work, smartlink isnt available and the satnav is stuck loading... We started getting new errors now and a concerning one is the one from the jpeg. Shocking as after an Octavia RS (2010), Superb L&K (2014) and a Sportline Superb (2010) this is teh first time I've had more serious issues IMG_3463.heic

Škoda Octavia IV Ireland release
Thanks @AJAMESR I think the 'automatics' (DSG) are the way forward for Škoda. Many other manufacturers are already there and a manual has to be ordered as an extra while the default is often automatic. Not looking at a VRS TBH but an equivalent of SE L available in the UK. I tried speccing a decent enough trim and it came to just over 31K. Not sure when we get it deployed here what the prices will be. Need to trade in a Superb L&K 2014 myself...

Škoda Octavia IV Ireland release

Škoda Octavia IV Ireland release
Thanks @MaddicIrl You would think they would have added the configurator to the web site immediately and allowed the people to start ordering (for the ones that want)... Wondering will they have any special deals when they do the actual release?!
