  1. yeah, may be the best bet as it does drive well now with the bilsteins, would like to keep them Cheers
  2. thanks Tom, do you think they'd be at a similar to the front in the pic above? As i reckon thats the kind of height i need for night nav/endurance rallying
  3. Well, i finally got around to changing them The car drives a lot better on tarmac with the bilsteins than the coilovers but as you can see in the pic below, she now looks ridiculous, far too low will have to try find a happy medium I could lower down the front to match but i need a bit of height for where i'll be driving
  4. thats what i mean, 44 still taxed in UK, and how many broken for their parts? A LOT, have seen them advertised on here over the years And how many more in the rest of Europe, CZ itself, Germany... There Has to be more than 200
  5. As my Sgt. said in recruit training "if you're not cheating, you're not trying..." Words i live my life by LOL
  6. Just throwing it out there but i Doubt that the 100 cars and 100 Estates figure is correct, i live in a small town on the edge of the atlantic ocean and i've owned one L&K and have seen two others Maybe the figures were falsified to add desirability? Just saying... I dont know that for a fact, but after having seen 3 in my town alone and two others on my travels over the years, i would hazard a guess that there are more than 200 out there. ?.
  7. Great, thought they might be a bit longer alright, but thats great as i need a bit more height for the shiddy roads they use for night navs over here Bonus I'll fit them at the weekend so if i can find the other one and get comparisson pics up for future reference
  8. I know theres some VW influence in the FWD skodas But looking at a set of Bilsteins i just found in the shed got me thinking (just asking the question here first to save me finding things out the hard way ) They look very similar, well, the rears anyway, will they fit?
  9. ah hard luck, What harm... Next time... Yeah, studs and nuts would be a proper way to go, hate those bolts myself
  10. is that a Rouse Cossie? You lucky B!! Nice set up ye have there, best of luck with it Have ye a facebook page? Back on the site again after an absence as i now have my rally car taxed, insured and MOT'd and will be using it as my daily car for the winter months
  11. i had Mnilights on one of mine for a while which i thought suited it perfect, (Please forgive stupid looking suspension heights)
  12. Isnt there a thread on here with one breaking? £100 + your own wheels for his L&K wheels, bit of a billy bargain if you ask me!
  13. remember seeing that on BBC2 at the time, wonder what Toyotas costs for a years rallying were in comparisson
  14. excellent, cheers:) I'll get on it at the weekend so, Too busy beng irish today
