[SOLVED] It simply was the cabin Air Filter cover not properly fit - i.e. loose! I have taken filter out and was cleaned. I am not sure, but also the filter was fit to send air the wrong direction! Right drive, filter is on left side under dashboard and air filter should point towards the air controls. Thanks everybody for inputs - appreciated!

Skoda Roomster Dec 2013 - right side number/license plate light blown, replaced no change
[SOLVED] Yep, did open that cabling boot - although officially called grommet (wrong word) and I obviously found what expected. Right side License Plate light wires both snapper and several others - including two large ones (I suppose for the electrical lock). Insulated them all first, then added a 5-6cm long extension and re-soldered the light wires - all works fine now.

I had some time today - 30 minutes - and I measured wires = no voltage. I also checked all 5A fuses and a few 7.5 and a couple 0f 10A near right side fuse box. I could see a 10A was replaced as was different. No change and no idea what to do more, if I had an idea of the wiring circuitry - that 'may' help. I also did a quick check of all lights and whichever dashboard light there is - as far as I know, all seems to work. mmm

Well, this shows how much I did not take care of this car! Probably at the very least the Cabin filter needs replacing, then will look at engine filters etc. I guess I am getting older... Perfectly clean but c0ver was lose - yes put in correct inner flow direction. Did not have time to test, but that may not change anything... in my view.

Skoda Roomster Dec. 2013 Petrol - Fumes keep getting in cabin...
Hello Any idea what is going on. I have to admit in the last 5-6 years I did not really take care of my car any more. In the sense that life keep getting in the middle and I also do not drive it as much. It has been going on for a while and I have to switch to internal fan only! Thanks M PS I am near retirement... and I will have more time to actually do some care, as I used when I had the Fabia 1.3 Estate

Skoda Roomster Dec 2013 - right side number/license plate light blown, replaced no change
Hi all I have right side number/license plate light blown (it is blown), replaced no change. I see that the left bulb (works) - following info I found, states Fuse 17 (5A) is for left parking light + left number plate light. Does the right one has a fuse? Cannot find manual just now, but I do have it. Thank you M Will have a look another day properly and with a meter - maybe on Saturday, I believe I can drive with one right?

Skoda Roomster 2013 (I think) Keys, locks and alarm ...
I am now wondering 'where' do I have replacement done and re-programmed with new codes? I did buy second hand years ago, dealers are ridiculously expensive.

Skoda Roomster 2013 (I think) Keys, locks and alarm ...
Point 1. answered - I was not sure as I never had to open a door without the remote. I managed to get my wife to test keys and they do open and set alarm too - Phew good. Point 2. is the remote really needed for 'anything else' I do not know of? Point 3. same question Thanks

Skoda Roomster 2013 (I think) Keys, locks and alarm ...
Hello I have not been here in a long time, I do not even drive very much - my wife does. Anyway, unfortunately while in a rush, my wife dropped keys and guess where they went? In a sewer - a deep one (just to help matter!) - could not get them, our mechanic tried with a strong magnet - he usually helped a lot of local people with same problem. I have 2 questions: 1. can I open and close 'any' door or just Driver's one (understandable) using keys and also set unset alarm? i.e. without the need of the remote? ... for now. Not tried anything, I am not there at present. We of course have spare keys with remote working fine. I was thinking to have 'just the key' copied without remote, if it can be avoided. 2. is the remote really needed? 3. what is the correct course of action in these cases? Since my insurance does cover keys (do not know at what extent, as they tend to NOT say things they should say these days!!). Will the remote/key be changed and Skoda re-program NEW keys and ECU/alarm (whichever) with a different code? Help appreciated. Thanks M
