Trouble happens when you get stopped by the law and they see you have one plate stuck on top of another, big holes tend to be dug at that point!! Better to remove, I had this on my caravan, I just pulled the old numberplate from one side and as the glue came into view carefully cut it with a stanley knife. Even left enough glue on there to stick my new plate to.

Hi, found the sticky pads could not cope with holding plate on front of my Leon FR, ended up getting (for free) a surround from local Merc dealership which clips together, so far no probs after 2 months, no drilling has to be good.

My 1.9 TDI Octy service schedule says 150000 kM for toothed belt change .it is March 2007 so despite the mileage I need to change and thats official advice from skoda is it ??
Guys, beware, 2.0TFSI Leon FR, belt replaced along with the rest of the engine after tensioner failure at just short of 17K ( 2.5 yrs old), the £500 pails into insignificance if Mr warranty was not available.

From the experience of someone I know don't skimp on this, belt alone may be £40 but a failure @ 17k on a Leon TFSI shoould not be taken lightly.......
Obviously you can make you own decisions but my friend would happily of paid for the job @ 4yrs only to find by good fortune Mr Warranty replaced the complete engine.

Don't be ignoring the cambelt change, someone I know had one snap on Leon FR @ 17K / 2yrs 8 mths old, be warned.....

Hi, can't fault the PS3's on my Leon FR, shame the fronts only manage <12K, fun all the same.
