  1. Up for a very regrettable sale is my 2002 Skoda Octavia VRS WRC. For those that don’t know this is one of a limited edition run of the very popular Octavia Vrs by Skoda to celebrate their 100th year in motorsport. For this reason there were only ever 100 made worldwide, of which 75 were LHD and 25 being RHD, so as you can appreciate this is a very rare car indeed…one of only 25 RHD versions ever built. When they were released they were fully laden in wrc graphics, however over the years owners have removed these either for personal preference of because they were fading, I don't know when but mine had them removed without damage to the paintwork. Anyway, back to my car, here are the details…

    · 2002 Skoda Octavia VRS WRC Ltd Ed No. 77/100

    · Mileage – 113,021

    · MOT – March 2013

    · Tax – March 2013

    · Partial Service History

    · 1.8T 210bhp engine having been remapped - returning a combined 35mpg….40+ on longer runs (Very Quick yet still economical)

Has all the usual VRS extras with the addition of the following due to it being a WRC

    · Candy White Paintwork

    · Candy White Alloy wheels to match

    · Self-levelling xenon headlights (very bright)

    · Headlight Washers

    · ESP instead of ASR

    · Half leather interior with heated front seats

    · Front seats having the benefit of side airbags

    · Black Carbon effect B Pillar covers

    · Skoda VRS kick plates

    · And an aluminium plaque on the dashboard stating edition number

    Additional extras

    · Genuine tailored VRS floor mats all round

    · CD player with 6 cd changer

    · 2 keys plus all documentation

    · Parrot hands free system

    · Complete new exhaust in April

    · Mx series amp - mx455

    · 5th alloy as a spare

    · Locking wheel nuts with the key present

    · Leather steering wheel and gear knob

    · Aero wipers

    · Climate control

Overall the car is in very good condition. The bodywork is very clean and tidy, the front end does have some stone chipping, but it doesn’t detract from the look at all. The wheels aren’t too bad, but would benefit from a refurb if you wanted them mint. The interior is very clean, no wear to the seats, no horrid aromas from smoke etc as I don’t smoke. It runs lovely, always warmed up properly before driving quicker, and allowed to cool down before turning off.

So to conclude, this is a very tidy VRS benefitting from being an extremely rare WRC model….it gets attention everywhere it goes. It has been well looked after and comes with all documentation, keys, locking nut etc. So come and have a look, and take away a piece of Motorsport history that you know you won’t see another one every day.

I also have a set of original BBS alloys with Dunlop/Bridgestone tyres that are on the car, they do have wear and tear but still in very good condition. I’m asking a paltry £200 if purchased with the car, or £250 if purchased separately.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Asking Price of £2800 but i am open to offers….

    Location – Chesterfield, Derbyshire S44

    Thankyou,

    Patricia

  2. [Various mind-bending topics were discussed, including cars, cameras, mobile phones, and

, which I thought was the end of the world up until yesterday (Please do not click on the above link if at work or of a nervous disposition)

I am still pmsl state listening to it on you tube earlier :giggle::rofl:

(hopefully a bit cleaner than it was last night)

    - is this the car or the conversation? lol

  3. The next monthly meet for the East Midlands lot!

Venue: The Snipe at Sutton, Alfreton Road, Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire NG17 1JE (just off the A38 off M1 J28 heading towards Mansfield) - See here for a map

    Date: Tuesday 27th July 2010 ? ? ? ? ?

    Time: 7:30pm

Sounds like you all had a great time last week smearing birthday cake on Dan's new wheels whilst looking at Pedobears on your iPhones, with Ben W singing karaoke in the background - at least that's what I gather from Nick's post

ermm just wondered if you were trying to relive last months for a slice of cake, will bring one along if need be!

hope it is just a typo error lol

good idea Ben by the way

  4. Another cracking meeting with lots of familiar and new faces. :)

Just a couple of 'foreign' cars in the top car park but may not be the case from next month. Personally I thought it was grand to other ladies there, some very funny conversations throughout and the amount of smiles confirmed it was better than sundays match!

On that subject,:rofl: Why did the chicken cross the road? ................................... According to FIFA it didn't ! ! ! !  booom booom

(thanks to chris evans on his radio 2 brekki show, yesterday) :giggle::giggle:

okay time to go B) ciao x
