Hi firstly bad luck, try Superskoda; http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/KODIAQ/Kodiaq-original-Skoda-mirror-shell-caps-full-replacement-SPORTLINE-black-version They are Black and 44.99 euro for a pair. You would still need to have them painted unless your car is black! Hope this is helpful.

Hi all had the 24 EV upgrade done yesterday, Wednesday 6/11/2019. As it is the wife's car I only got to drive it today 'cos it needs petrol....initial impressions are that it does pick up a little better with more low down torque, SWMBO hadn't noticed any difference but she drives with more throttle than I do.

Thanks to all first chance today to take a look, a factory reset allowed the 5 flash alarm chirp on lock and unlock, haven't figured out the mirror dip for reverse yet, option is in infotainment so perhaps there is light at the end of the tunnel.....

In the infotainment lighting section there is an option for right or left driving, UK is default right I think, only stumbled across this a week or so ago, perhaps a more learned briskodian can confirm. I am still learning the ins and outs of the vast array of menu's and sub menu's

Hi all I am enjoying my new Kodiaq very much and wanted to personalise some of its features, I just couldn't justify the cost of a new VCDS lead so opted for the much cheaper Carista. What I liked; the android interface was nice and simple the app was fast the options were easy to initiate/reverse the price what i didn't like; the "mods" promised did not work the subscription of £33.99 to get one month free of their pro option it is easy to cancel though the fact that their website promises more than it delivers. the vast majority of their advertised "mods" were already activated as standard. no option to do a backup of the original settings. Now, I have a MY 19 and wanted to do the following; active horn signal for arm/disarm - did not work have scandanavian DRL - this worked increase comfort turn signals from 3 to 5 - did not work. Because i wanted so little doing I though that Carista would be the cheapest option, now I know that I'll probably be berated for using a non VCDS product but the £200 price tag is just too much for use probably once or twice a year. However there is so little information about what Carista actually does I hope that this maybe of use to anyone thinking about buying one of these. It is OK but it is probably a better option to use a fellow Briskodaian to do the mods for you. Roy

Picked up the Kodi last Saturday, can't believe how much ride quality has improved. I thought the Superb was a nice place to be but the Kodi is so much more refined. Body roll or sense of it will take awhile to get the hang of. Not sure on S/S maybe good thing time will tell. The rest is great thanks to a great dealer, Sparshatts of Hedge End been super helpful and cannot fault them.

@TheRobinKthe puppy is very good,miniature Labradoodle called bailey, he is good in the car and not too bitey around the house, a very chilled dog unlike me. Looking forward to having both new car and puppy combo. @john999boy, the waiting time is less than the original 23 weeks quoted, ordered March 12th really wanted a 69 plate but that ain't gonna happen.

Thanks all for the replies, I'll wait and see what the car comes with, it was built Monday 3rd july so perhaps some my 20 upgrades maybe there? The factory shuts in a few weeks time, week 29 I think, for the new my line change.

Looking forward to the new arrival. With a new puppy too just wanted to check what protection was there. I agree when we bought the Honda free mats full tank of fuel and mud flaps...now 13 years later nothing even charged for £50 of fuel 😢 still looking forward to a new car until some a-hole decides my car is a door stop in Ikea or sainsburys or any where else.
