Have the big sound system and tthe Columbus in my car and it's started to have poor FM-audio lately, is it something that one could check with VCDS or could it be a hardware failure in some way?
-
Is it possible to amplify the DAB-reception in some way? Have the RNS510. FM-radio works pretty ok but the DAB-radio is kinda poor sometimes.

So, got a 2014 FL 2.0TDI 170hp 4x4 estate which in my opinion seems to be humming/droning around 2200-2500rpm when going around 100-120km/h on the freeway in sixth gear. Does your ones do that too? It's very noticable when sitting in the rear seat making conversations extra hard. Could it be the mufflers that are crap or is it just like this on all these cars?

Air Quality Sensor - how to change it?
scootie replied to scootie's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Lemme answer my own question. It's located under the plastic cover and mounted on the fresh air cabin intake. Takes 10 min to change. -
2.0L TDI 170hp.. Anyone?

Been getting these error codes about the air quality sensor so I bought a new one, without really thinking about where the old one sits and how to do to replace it. Has anyone done it and know how to? Thanks in advance!

Interesting. Did your car have the big sound package? Is 2GB Ram enough on these head units or does it work poorly when opening a couple of apps? I've seen some units come with 4GB ram instead but then you get a older Android version instead. All these compromises.

Engine takes long time to get up to temperature
scootie replied to scootie's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Any chance this coolant pipe is involved in the DSG-thermostat change? I mean if it will break in the same instance that I start to change the thermostat. Not really sure where this pipe sits though, Is it placed where someone has marked FORGRENER? Massive thank you to all of you for all the help! -

You guys sure art.nr 1K0 121 113 A fits Engine code CFGB ? Doing a search on some Swedish stores gives me another thermostat suggestion, I'm guessing that's the normal thermostat and not the DSG one. -

Thanks for the info! I read about this coolant distribution pipe that could be changed aswell, I'm guessing it's placed in the same spot? And Another dumb question, except removing the air box what should I expect when releasing the rubber hose from the thermostat, will it be pressurised (Spelling) so I'll get sprayed with coolant liquid? Do I have to fill up with red coolant afterwards? -

Yeah, forgot to mention it's a DSG. And about how long time/length it takes I haven't thought about it more than on a 2hr trip the stick/meter sometimes doesn't go up to the middle on the instrument cluster and when just doing a Quick stop on a gas station it seems like it loses alot of heat very quickly. -
It's been doing this for 1 months time or so now, I know it's colder now than it was 1 month ago but it takes a lot longer time for the water temperature to get to correct working temp, I'm guessing the thermostat is starting to give up. How extensive is the work to change it myself? It's a 2014 2.0 TDI 170PS 4x4 Superb Estate.

Don't you have other options, BOLA makes something similar to the Vossens, i even Think BM Autosport have them for a more reasonable price or check on fleabay
