Had a look today, the battery and housing was in the way but after taking that out, it was easy enough to see. Unfortunately the torx bolt wasn't easy to see or access as it was under the sensor (from the top) so I couldn't get the sensor out, but the wires seemed ok and the connector had continuity. Its in for service in a couple of weeks so I'll get it checked by them I guess. ðĪŠ

I've done everything I can, reset the infotainment system, swapped the fuse, just in case, checked to see if it has any fault codes, nothing. I should correct what I said about the camera, it doesn't have a camera, just visual representation of the back of the car on the screen, with the coloured markers that change as you get closer. I am leaning towards the reversing light switch on the gearbox, as that 'must' have something to do with instigating the whole, reversing sensors etc. Normally, when reverse is engaged, you'll hear a beep, to show reverse is selected, that isn't happening either. Can anyone help, perhaps with pics, of where the switch is located on the gear box and how is best to access it from the engine bay (top) as I have no way to safely get underneath? ð

Hi, @Stuart8 can you tell me where the switch is located please, can it be accessed with a ramp?

All good then, ta.

Hi All, Been a while but sadly 2 months ago I hit a dog, which caused some damage to the front end (RIP Dog) was drivable so it took 6 weeks to get the insurance to get it into the garage for the repairs. Took 1 week to complete the repairs. Got it back last week. Looks and works ok but something doesn't look right so I thought I would ask you lot for your opinions. The air con radiator had to be replaced as well as the crash(?) bar and front bumper. Some pics are attached. My question, the new radiator doesn't appear square/straight, should it be? As I have no idea if it were straight prior to the collision.................. Thanks in anticipation :0)

2003 Fabia Estate Rear Seat Foam
Snowbaby replied to Snowbaby's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Its this colourway, but that said I might get away with just changing the foam if the cloth was different, as that's where the pesky stuff is hiding -
Hey All, Any help on where I can get hold of new foam for the rear seats, long story short but I managed to get the rear seat contaminated with the liquid from one of those crystal moisture absorbers (doh) so of course if I dry it out it just comes back when there is any moisture in the car, so ANY help would be very much appreciated!

Wipers not working?? - Read this first!!
Snowbaby replied to MoggyTech's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Dumb ass question here! Had the issue of wipers not working, looked at handbook to try and find out about the fuses, book says fuse 15 is the wipers, yay I thought, so I off'd the fuse cover, but to my surprise there was no fuse diagram on the rear of the cover, as in all my other cars. No diagram in my handbook either. Solved the issue by taking out each 10A fuse one at a time, checking it until I found one that looked gone, then swapped out the one that obviously took care of the interior lights, put that in, way hay, wipers working. My question......................surely there must be a fuse diagram somewhere, that cannot be the way it should be done??
