Replaced mine today, the one that has the child lock enable/disable buttons on it. For once a 5 minute job that took less than 5 minutes!

Same as above, pricey BCM needed to be fitted and coded.

I've put double USB ports in place of the 12V port.

Originally I planned to retrofit a fully fledged (Android Auto & CarPlay capable) USB port inside the centre arm rest console, like the factory option, but it requires more hardware and more trim removal.
So I ended chosing this alternate way.
:ooks great, can you post a link to the new usb part please? Thanks.

It can also be used to open the boot from the inside if the lock broke, but any key or similar will work to pop the trunk from the inside.

Thanks, have put my manual "somewhere safe".

Hi,
Just had my car tested, and when I got home my handbrake does not activate with the break pedal. It still works fine with the switch.
This happened recently with a BCM failure and was fixed with replacement BCM.
Is there a setting I can use to reset system to use the foot brake again? I can get a lend of VCDS if needed.
Thanks.

Did you get this sorted mate.. I had a bcm pack up on mine at 110k miles. 400 quid part and many hours labour to refit and recode
J had one go too, and the replacement too. Replacement of the replacement was covered by Skoda.

Also, the infotainment unit and maxi dot work perfectly until key is put in ignition. Then they immediately dim.

Just checked part number replaced was 5Q0937084CQ.
I presume a 2 year warranty applies to dealer supplied and fitted parts?

They had a lot of difficulty finding cause of issue, Skoda factory were looking at it remotely too. Am just hoping not going to have issue every few months.

Can't remember, was over a year ago. Module was replaced by Skoda and been fine since, camera was removed and car is 100% standard. Car was fine on way to work, fault just happened after I started car.

Installation of a reversing camera was suspected cause last time. No idea what causes it this time.

I had one replaced, not under warranty, about a year ago. Similar problem. Any idea what causes the failure? Is it a known issue??
-
Today my interior lights stopped working, radio and dash lights dimmed and heated seats stopped working.
Any ideas on what is causing this? Nothing has been added/changed lately.
Thanks.

Am also looking to replace a tired pair of gas struts, am advice on sellers? Thanks
-
Be interesting to see how this works out. Might check out my local breakers.

Thanks, what would be best to try lubricate struts, don't want to damage seals? Spray grease?

Thanks, will search the Yeti forum.

Hi,
Am looking at replacing manual opening boot gas struts, they are getting very lazy/weak. Car is less than 3 years old.
Part number is 3V5827550. Can anyone suggest an upgrade option?
Thanks.

I had to have bcm replaced, seems to pop up here every so often. Expensive to fix too.
