  1. I like the ultraleggera's slightly more than the superturismo's, but the nardo's :thumbdwn: I'm afraid. They don't seem to sit right, might be the offset? You say the ultraleggera's have amazing performance, is that due to the light weight? I would have thought the superturismo's would be the same:confused: p.s How much have you spent on wheels:eek:

Dotz Nardo has a slightly higher offset, think it's like ET38....compared to the 2 OZ-Racing sets, that has ET35...

But....an even bigger difference...is that the Dotz Nardo Wheel is "only" 7" wide...

...while the OZ-Racing wheels are 8" wide...

...all these differences adds upp to the thing I personally disslike about the Nardo:s...I'ld like them far out from the wheel arches....but I DON'T want to use "spacers"...they are a bit "slim"...they are not "fat" enough....suits more like a *bling bling* cruising wheel

...therefore...the lack the special bit of performance that the OZ-Racing wheels offers...

I don't know how much the weight of the Ultraleggera affects the performance, but it feels like the "wheels" rolls VERY easily...compared to other wheels...

The same goes for the Superturismo:s WRC, but they weight slightly more...than Ultraleggera:s, but much less than many other wheels...

I think the biggest effect on the performance...are the width of the wheels 8" wide....with a perfect offset ET35.....with a great tyre in 225/35 ZR 17...that puts the wheels "outside" the "chassie" (wheel arches)....which gives the car an extreme handling-power..the performance on these Ultraleggeras are EXTREME...it feels stunning...

(It's extreme with the Superturismo:s WRC too...but it feels slightly "better" with the Ultraleggera:s)

Don't know If I dare to talk about how much we've spent on wheels these 23 months, since the car left the factory... ...it's like: € 6500

  2. Agreed - These white wheels look fantastic - If only I was as bold....

Do you have any problems with tyre rub with 225/35/17???

    Thanks a lot!!! :D

    Pardon my bad English... :P

No' date=' that's not a problem...it's lowered -30mm with H&R Sport Performance Springs..and the only "problem" (wouldn't even call it a problem) is when you do a "full turn" with the steeringwheel...but it's so little "rubbing"...

When you drive it...there's absolutely NO rubbing! :)

  3. :D Thanks a lot!!!

Good thing that we kept all the 3 sets then!!!

We couldn't neither decide wich looks the best, they all look good,

    but i different ways...

and...with 3 good set of wheels...we can change them quite often,

    if we want to...

We like the OZ-racing Ultraleggera best....because of the extreme performance (and looks) of them...:D

But the nicest "*bling bling* style"...is the Dotz Nardo:s....best "rally-look" is OZ-Racing Superturismo:s WRC...

I'm quite sure we're going to use the Ultraleggera:s most of the time now....

..but for *bling bling* crusing..we'll switch to the Nardo:s...and for driving fast in the "woods"....the Superturismo:s will be fitted!!! :)

  4. Hi,

    This is how a Fabia (V) RS looks with OZ-Racing Ultraleggera [Chrystal Titanium], 8 x 17" ET 35 with Pirelli P-Zero Nero 225/35 ZR17:

    "In-Side"

Finally we've found the right "wheels"....:D It sure feels like that. So happy right now!!! :)

But we-ve decided to keep the other two sets of "wheels"....

    OZ-Racing Supertursimo WRC [Race White], 8 x17" ET35:

Now a little question, which ones of thoose wheels, looks the best, on a black magick pearl...Fabia (V) RS?! :)

    -=[Tobbe]=-

  5. Thats one of the best fabias ever man.. its just awesome.. the wheels look so good, the tail lights are amazing.. u only need the black projector lights for the front and its gonna look so wonderful

    Thanks a lot!!! :D

I was going for the "black headlight projectors" [TYC Europe] untill I found out, that they couldn't be used...with the "manufacturers Xenon"....because of the "height and lenght adjustment"....

The only way to use Xenon...was to use "aftermarket kits" withous "heigt and length adjustment" :( And...I really want to use my "Skoda Original Xenon" (though we have changed the bulbs to 6000 Kelvin)

Otherwise...I'ld definitly go for the "black headlight projectors" from TYC Europe! ;)

  6. I'm glad you liked the (V)RS "stickers" :)

And hope all you guys over there, in the UK, can get a hold of them somehow...kind of difficult for me...to send over some to all you guys, that wants some...

I know wich compay, that's producing the "stickers" here in Sweden, but I doubt-...they will be willing, to deliver to the UK...I must look for the company's name.....you can always ask them yourself! :)

    -=[Tobbe]=-

  7. Overkill on the stickers for me I'm afraid and not a huge fan of the petrol cap or rear lights, but the wheels look sweet on the car and the front bumper/grille looks great

    Thanks :)

...many people said, that the OZ-Racing Superturismo WRC 8 x 17" wouldn't fit the Fabia...without "spacers" but...they fit great  Perect I'ld say!

And they 225/35 ZR17 Pirelli P-Zero Nero tyres makes it look and handle perfect! :)

No "rubbing" in the wheel arches (think that's the right english translation)...with full stearing...like the new complete wheels a lot!

But I decided to keep last seasons "wheels"...and to put them on...at special occations....this coming summer....this is what it looked like..last summer:

    Skoda_Fabia_RS_014.jpg

    Skoda_Fabia_RS_010.jpg

    :)

  8. Nice looking car.

Can i ask where you got the Skoda Motorsport sticker in the front window and the vRS stickers on the sills from and how much would it cost to get some sent to the UK

Thanks, it feels nice to hear so much good things from you guys!

All the different "Skoda-stickers" are from my "local Skoda-dealer" :)

Don't know if it's possible to order them in GB...or how much it would cost...to send "some" over there ;)

    -=[Tobbe]=-

  9. Thanks a lot!!! :D

As I understand it...the "rub strips" should only be "pulled" right off the car? With a small amount of force? :)

Was it hard to remove the glue afterwards?

I haven't seen any Fabia (V)RS here i Sweden, without the "rub strips" on them...

    -=[Tobbe]=-

  10. Thanks!!! :)

It's the "spoiler-lip" from MiloTec, for the ordinary Fabia...It looks better "in real life"...in all other angles! :)

My "drawings" are going to be three layers...the first one is green, then red...and for "top layer" "sponsor logo's" of what our car is equiped with now. (For example: Ferrita Motorsport ; Forge Motorsport ; K&N ; H&R ; Ferodo ; BlackDiamond ; KCRacing and so on...)..and som various www . skoda-auto . com....and...don't now the englishword...but big "number tag"...with WRC-logo..

There should be alot of force generated on the WRC-spoiler :( And I don't wanna take out holes in the glass...It's a hard "problem" to solve..

    -=[Tobbe]=-

  11. Looks great!!! :)

Are there any previous "posts" about:

    - How To Remove The "Rub Strips"? :)

My mother now also drives a Fabia (V)RS, a yellow one....removing the "rub strips" would make it look so much more cleaner!!!

Anyone, that can share me some information of what I need and how it should be done? ;)

    Thanks! :D

    -=[Tobbe]=-

  12. Thanks :D

Right now I'm trying to fit my WRC-Spoiler...

Need..som help with the "fitting" though...I don't wanna glue it to the rear window....I'm thinking of something that makes it

    easy to remove...

It slows down the car good enough...I think they mentioned ~ 200kg <-> 250kg of "downforce" on the WRC-spoiler...

So, I need something to "mount/slide" it in...on the "rear window"...so it's possible to remove it...when I wanna go real fast ;)

It slows down the ca quite a bit...I've heard...But I can't seem to figure out...how I should make a simple "fitting" to the window :(

  13. Hello!!! :)

A few weeks ago, there were some pictures in a "thread", of a Black Magick Pearl Fabia (V)RS with the green/red WRC-"stickers"...

Right now...we're thinking of "going there"....all the way ;) I've been drawing on the "design" for some days now...and it seems more and more obvious...that we really want it....

Does somebody know, if there's any way to order...ONLY the green/red "WRC-layers" somewhere on the internet??

Or should I order the complete threee layers that I've drawed...from the local "graphic manufacturer"???

By the way...here's som pictures of our Fabia (V)RS with OZ Racing Superturismo WRC 8 x 17" & Pirelli P-Zero Nero 225/35 ZR17. Enjoy :D
