    Oh boy, I've got this job to do over Christmas, not looking forward to it! Thanks to all for the useful advice above. Is there a simple(ish) way to diagnose whether it's the fan or resistor unit that's faulty before starting? I have a 2010 Fabia with the climatronic ac controls. Any advice gratefully received - Thanks!
