  1. Tailgate struts replacement?

    Just bought a 5 year old with only 15k and mine is exactly the same. Needs to be lifted to pass the halfway mark. Also drops fast and slams shut. All the signs of worn gas struts which I will be replacing. I noticed you also have the 'enhanced ' tailgate with larger spoiler and extended glass which must add some weight I suspect. Just to confirm I tried some tailgates on brand new Scalas which raised themselves after unlatching.

    JUST TO LET ANYBODY KNOW WHO MIGHT LOOK AT THIS INSTALLATION, THE FUSE TAP IS THE WRONG WAY ROUND - THE TAIL OF THE FUSETAP SHOULD BE FACING DOWN AWAY FROM THE HOT SIDE OF THE FUSEWAY WHICH IN THIS CAR (SAME AS MINE) IS AT TOP. SEE VIDS ON YOUTUBE FOR FURTHER EXPLANATION. FUSE COVER STILL FITS OVER IT.
