  1. Morning, Have a 2020 Skoda iV, and away for the weekend so don’t have my normal scanning stuff. Yesterday, whilst driving the traction control would randomly kick in when it had no need to. Then after a while got a plethora of lights and messages , (Error: TCS / ABS / Tyre pressure / Hill hold etc) and regen braking stopped working. Fine, must be a wheel sensor. Annoyingly, after driving a little while it self recovered, only to start happening again half hour later. If you’re going to break, just break! But this morning when driving, an error message stating something along the lines of “Engine must run on” came up, very shortly followed by “maximum engine speed 1200 RPM” which isn’t fantastic when sitting on the motorway and was unable to select battery only mode. Turning it off and on again cleared the engine problem, but happened again half an hour later. Anyone seen this before? Don’t have VCDS with me so can’t plug it in, and waiting for some garages around here to open up so it can drop it in. Most of it points towards a dodgy wheel sensor, but the engine cutting out seems unrelated (unless it’s getting confused by the wonky wheel sensor) Don’t remember seeing an engine management light, only ABS/TCS/power steering/tyre pressure.
  2. I’ve been given a Superb IV, as a company car. It’s “OK”, but do feel quite let down with it at times... I struggle with the headed seats, can any one shed any light? Occasionally they are quite hot, but of the time you can’t notice they are on. I’ve been trying windows open/heating on etc but can’t find a link! The infotainment system has been buggy, and would just randomly crash and hang... Though it updated last week so will see if it improves.. I drove to a site late evening, and back early hours of the morning. 172 mile round trip, which cost me around £18 in fuel. At the moment, I can only charge the car at site, not at home. I only ever drive the car in hybrid mode, not in battery mode. Is this the right thing? All my journeys are on the motorway. A full charge will normally do me about 170 odd miles before battery is on 0 miles. Think I’m averaging about 50MPG cheers
