Fault found! Scanned with my friends code reader and the seat seems to have tripped out, deleted the code and it's working again, the fault was heat temperature sensor short circuit so if it happens again it'll be the base pad need changed as this has the thermostat in it

Don't know why I'm bothering to update as help seems few and far between on this subject, checked what I assume to be the correct wires from the base heater and back heater and I'm getting 2.0 ohms and 3.2 so my guts telling me it's the thermostat in the base heater that's toast, will report back if I get to the bottom of it, so you don't have the same grief as me 👍

Does anyone know how to check the elements? The wire colours and the expected resistances? Had a quick look this morning, seat out job for me and get to anything and the wiring is all really tight and inaccessible

Evening all, sorry if this has been done to death but my drivers seat heater has stopped working, the cars light up on the switch briefly then go out, passenger seat works ok so I'm guessing that rules out the fuse

Hi, pads virtually new, brake fluid changed 2 years ago for motul stuff, 47,000 miles on the car, can't feel any lips on the discs they look perfect

Afternoon all, So did a fair bit of motorway driving yesterday and noticed and intermittent noise while braking, doesn't happen everytime I brake which makes it harder to understand, more than likely from the front, any ideas, common issues? Discs look fine and pads, could be a warped disc but thinking the noise would be constant 🤔, as ever any helped appreciated

So I want to fit a towbar and I'm curious about the electrics/wiring, you can buy a trailer control module for this but I don't want to pay £150 for the privilege, I had the idea of making an inline twin plug loom so it will be plug and play, but is there a reason this isn't done factory? Will it cause canbus errors 🤔, any info greatly received

Never had the issue until now 🤷

So went in today two test drives and an MOT tester check on a vibrating knock test machine thing and no faults found 🤦🤦

Morning all, Im looking some help advice, i have a mk3 estate VRS DSG diesel PFL and it has a clunk,knock,creak from the front end, I've had it up in the air this morning on a jack, wheels off had a dig around cant see anything obvious, no snapped spring, balljoints all appear ok, the droplinks dont seem as tight as id expect but this is the same both sides, is there any common issues associated with these front ends? I had a mk6 golf and they were prone to chassis creak, there was a mod kit released that was basically a serrated washer that went between the subframe and the car body, any help gratefully received.

36k battery has been tested 2015, yes i understand ppl may comment but i may be being overly critical, i mean it starts 🤷
