Just saw this... You mean you bought a new (bigger) intercooler and it didn't come with new pipes? If that's the case, I'd say you could have bought better. It's already a bit risky to buy an aftermarket part that is "compatible" because some car versions have different placements for some of it's parts... I bought a fatter intercooler and installed it a couple of days ago. Bought it from eBay for a Golf Mk5 GTi, reportedly wouldn't fit. While installing I noticed the ingress pipe didn't have the right angle, nor width... Lucky for me it's a silicone pipe that I could bend and cut to fit. But the kit still came with pipes, braces, etc. Was your intercooler supposed to come with pipes?

Where are you guys connecting these footwell LEDs? Phill, where's the control module you mentioned?

Just a follow up, as I've been working on the car recently. These were all fixed (eventually) at the dealership. Washer bottle replaced, washer pump replaced, one of the windows was connected the other way around somehow... also fixed a blockage on the sunroof where it would somehow leak into the cabin when it rains heavily - the chaps at Skoda reportedly used a pipecleaner to unblock the pipes that come down the pillars. Recently dealing with a P0299, which I beleive I fixed (not coming up since) by replacing the air intake with a Ramair intake. Next repair is going to be related to a P0441 EVAP fault - bough myself a carbon canister and N80 valve to replace - I'm over 240.000km now, so it's probably due to replace anyway. ...the brake hissing seems to be gone after the last couple of visits to Skoda. 😄

Hi everyone! I've bought a 2007 Octavia RS 2.0 TFSI, which I've wanted for a really long time. The car was in very good condition, with the exception being a few minor but annoying issues. 1. The left rear window shuts/opens the other way around, no matter if I'm doing it from the driver's seat or directly on the rear door button. 2. Rear left window frequently opens (even when car parked) when it rains - I just read somewhere that there might be a connection between the rain sensor (which I usually leave ON) and this issue. I'll test. 3. The Window washer pump is not working (front or back). I've had a look but could't manage to see where it is to check if it could have become disconnected (powered off) or faulty. When I pull the stalk to activate it I can't hear any sound coming from the bonnet. Has anyone replaced one of these - what do I need to disassemble in order to get access to it? 4. Weird hissing noise somehow associated with the brakes. The sound is just like a leaking air pipe. I can hear it whether or not I'm moving. When I press the brake pedal I hear it stop and it resumes the moment I take the foot off the brake.
