Sorry, but that suggests that you aren't doing something correctly.
Have you worked through the complete instructions in the Handbook?
Settings exactly as book each key set correctly works of for 2-3 weeks then seems to forget to work with remote the buttons on seat work fine.
-
Hi ralle,
re the seat settings, each key can be programmed for different drivers.
have one key for you and the other for your wife.
That should solve things. Enjoy the driving.
Have programmed both keys but the car keeps forgetting the settings did it again this morning due a visit to the dealers I think no good having memory seat the doesn't remember.

Why not get them retro fitted?
After spending close to £30k on a Yeti, spending a few hundred quid on the upgraded steering wheel & coding is a bit of a no-brainer really...
Already looking into changing the wheel as with the lever in manual mode the change is the wrong way round for me it should be back for up and forward for down same as the sequential boxes I've used in rally cars.

I thought that the new Golf was supposed to be the most refined small hatch on the road today? This really surprises me and makes me even more pleased with my decision to go with the Yeti-I seriously considered getting a 1.6 tdi Golf but it would have cost £8k more than the same spec as my Monster. The 20mpg extra the Golf did would have taken a long time to recoup that cost difference.....
The golf was really nice to drive but being a GTD the suspension was quite firm and with the big wheels the ride was of the firm side and road noise very noticeable. A beautifully made car with a lots of nice touches but I prefer my yeti.

Can't get my head round wanting paddles when you've bought an automatic! Same with turning off daylight running lights. No interest in electric seat - always seemed sooooooo slooooow to work.Very comfortable driving position in my Yeti.Must be an age thing.
Hi I like having the auto for most of my driving but its nice to have a bit more control when using manual mode if your on a nice stretch of road. I use the lever in manual mode but the change is the wrong way round for me it should be back for up and forward for down same as the sequential boxes I've used in rally cars.
The electric memory seat is useful for us as my wife is a lot shorter than me saves lots of adjustment when changing drivers.

I have a 170 DSG on order and am pleased to see your mpg. Bearing in mind the engine will still be fairly tight it looks good.
As a matter off interest my Tig 140 DSG only really loosened up at 10k but I was gentle with it. I'm really looking forward to the extraower in a lighter vehicle.
The mpg is about 3-4 mpg less than the trip computer shows we had and Octavia scout 140 tdi before and had expected a slight drop in mpg but its working out a bit better.

Hi we have now had our yeti L&K 170 tdi dsg in Magnetic brown for 3 months and 4000 miles and are really enjoying the car. It was ordered with the following options,
1 Electric memory seat very useful and comfortable (lots of adjustment) but not the easiest to set up with remote to get mirrors and seat all working much easier in my jeep.
2 Heated washer jets should have be standard on L&k I think.
3 Rear mud flaps only £20 so why not.
4 Tyre pressure monitor but this became standard during the wait for the car.
Thing I wish I had ordered the stainless pedals but already changed and cheaper than getting them factory fitted .
The car took 4 and a half months from order and looked great when we collected it the magnetic brown looks great and goes well with the brown leather which nearly everybody who has seen the car likes.
I have been surprised how well the car handles much better than I expected having had lots of performance cars before its nice to have a car that can still be fun to drive when you want.
It has averaged about 44 mpg mostly country road driving by my wife to work and back and has been as high as 50 on longer runs when not in a hurry, it has also been much lower when I have had the car to my self.
The good points
The 170 tdi and dsg box only wish it had steering wheel paddles.
The panoramic roof nice and bright inside and we have had lots of nice sunny weather to use it.
The head lights are really good and the cornering function surprisingly good.
The comfort and seating position helped by the electric seat.
The bad points
The Columbus sat nav seems a bit complicated at times not easy to use on the move.
The boot size but can hold more than you imagine.
The L&K carpets with brown stitching is just a set of mats.
I have had to reset the memory seat and mirrors a couple of times as it seems to forget occasionally.
I had a visit from a friend a couple of days ago with a golf GTD got at the same time as the yeti. I had a good drive in the golf the performance very similar the golf handles a bit better but has much more road noise and no where near as nice as the yeti on rough roads. The biggest surprise was the lights on the golf nowhere near as good as the yeti lights for a similar setup.
So after 3 months we are really happy with the car and look forward to many more miles happy driving.

Haven't noticed on the yeti but our old Octavia scout was the same Vw tourans as well my brother in law spent ages one night trying to get them working on his touran he gave me a ring for ideas asked him if bonnet was up, it was shut bonnet problem solved.

Hi we have had our L&K for 3 weeks now we went for magnetic brown as we thought it would be a good match for the leather.
A few people we told about the spec of the car before we got it didn't like the brown leather but so far everybody who has seen the car since we got it like the interior.
When we ordered it I was not sure what to think of the brown leather but was pleasantly surprised when the car arrived, also ordered the electric memory seat witch give much more adjustment then the manual seat.

Hi I had a look at that thread but still have the same issue might be a visit to dealer to check.

Hi I'm having problems with setting memory seat and mirrors on our 2014 yeti been over the manual a few times.
The problem is I've set memory 1 for my wife and memory 2 for me.
The seat and mirrors move with the memory button on the seat but only the seat moves with the remotes
The manual says the setting should be remembered with the keys when you lock the car.
Any ideas
Thanks

Picked up Yeti on Monday ordered on 1st Feb an Outdoor L&K 170 tdi dsg in magnetic brown. Only had a fairy short drive in it so far but very impressed much more refined than our old Octavia scout.

Call from dealer today Yeti arrived wait nearly over.
-
After nearly a 5 month wait I should have mine in a week or so.
-
Had call from dealer build week 23 confirmed now so should be built next week hopefully it wont take too long to get to the dealer its been a long wait since the 1st of feb.

I have hill hold on my Octavia scout the biggest problem with it is you don't know when its activated as it depends how steep the hill is. My works transit van has it and a light comes on to let you know when it activated much more usefull with the scout unless its a fairly steep hill you have to assume its not going to activate.

This makes me feel depressed. I ordered 16/2 with build week 22.
Colin
Not as bad as me I ordered 1/2 and I'm build week 23

Erm no... I changed my manual Elegance order to a DSG three months after ordering.... But then I did wait seven months for my car. And no we did not have to do a re-order it was the existing order that was changed.
I spoke to skoda and was informed that you cannot now change gearbox or engine type now without creating a new order.
-
You cant amend gearbox type I changed my order from a Outdoor 170tdi L&k manual to a dsg 4 weeks after first ordering and it had tpo be a new order. The L&K wasn't available with a 170 dsg at the time of first order.
-
Just heard from dealer today our car Yeti L&K 170 dsg is now build week 23 so should hopefully have it for the end of June that would be a 5 month wait from ordering.
-
Had a phone call from the dealer today ordered a outdoor L&K 170 tdi manual on first feb changed in to 170 dsg at end of feb had to reorder. Got a provisional built week of 26 today was 37 2 weeks ago. Its now a 2015 model year car and according to dealer I cant have the L&K wood trim now as its not available now not a big issue.
-
Hi my Yeti was ordered 1/2 and is showing build week 26 was build week 34 so looking at least 5 months for me as well.
Tpm standard
in Skoda Yeti

Tpm was an option I ordered on our yeti on 1st feb but by the time the car arrived at the end of June it was standard and the price had gone up the same amount as the option £100 I think.
