  1. Hello, I have a similar problem too. The boot does not close properly. I have realised that when the small "boot door" is completely open there is current going through but when it is near the closing position there is no current. I managed to figure this out when I opened the boot slowly-slowly and at the same time I was measuring the current. So the reason of not closing properly is that the motor that the locker is connected with when the boot door is closed was not having current. So I think that I have the same issue with the wire as explained above. My problem is how to reach to the wires as the "large door" (hatch mode) cannon open. How can I remove the plastics? Please help. Thanks a lot.
  2. Hello, I have this (or similar) issue for 2 days. The boot opens as expected (with the boot button on the key), but when I push it to close I can hear the first click but then the motor does not pull the boot at it's normal position. As a result the indicator inside the car shows that the boot is not open. Do you think it's the switch just above the wires (see Greenliner1's first photo). Thanks a lot.
  3. Have a look at the topic: rSAP - Samsung Galaxy S2 working-http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/201367-rsap-samsung-galaxy-s2-working
  4. I got my Galaxy S2 few days ago. It has v2.3.5 I had the same problem with some contacts from my phone book. After a closer look to these contacts I realised that they had some notes transferred on my galaxy’s phone contacts when I synchronised the phone with windows outlook. The notes were created when I was saving a contact using my old HTC. I then removed all these notes from each contact and now all my contacts are downloaded to the car.
  5. Anyone knows if Samsung Galaxy Note and the newer version of Samsung Galaxy S2 (LTE) supports rSAP profile?
  6. How can you turn on rSAP on Samsung Galaxy S2? On my HTC touch hd there is an option to turn on SAP. Is there something similar? Thanks
  7. I called them yesterday and they say there is no campaign for my car. I bought the car new april 2010. A label on the machine where CDA is written there is something like a manufacturing date, March 2010. Probably this can help someone to check affected manufacturing dates.
  8. Is this list avialable somewhere apart from the dealers?
  9. So your car is not affected. When did you buy the car. Or when your engine was produced?
  10. Well I cannot explain how the noise is heard. What exactly is a tapping noise.
  11. Is there a databease to check the engine numbers if they are included in the "defective" engines?
  12. I also have some noise comming from somewhere like a ticking noise. This noise can be heard after 10 minutes from start up. Sometimes stops after driving for some more time. I have noticed (test it 2 times) that when the oil temperature is 100 degrees it stops. Has this anything to do with the recall?
  13. Anyone knows when this Campaign started? I had my car for service on 10th of May and they never told me anything. I have asked them yesterday and they say they will check my car's engine code again and they will inform me.
  14. If you are talking about my comments, I cannot hear it in the video. My post is referring to ringing??? I really cannot describe it in english.
  15. Sometimes I can hear a noise(I don't really know how to describe it, it's like very small bell which can sound in high frequencies!!!) when the car is at P, R or N. In D and S is a quite similar and always when it's stopped (e.g. traffic lights). Sometimes I can hear it when moving really slowly. All the above when no radio is on and when window is open. When I asked at the dealer they say this is common, but I have never test another car. Can anyone hear any such noise?
  16. Can you download the phone contacts or only the sim contacts? This was an issue with the Samsung Galaxy (not the latest S2 model)
  17. On my Columbus the the bluetooth symbol, next to MDI (under media) is visible only when the treaming begins. i.e. the "media player" could be connected (symbol on MFD) but on Columbus the symbol is comming up only when streaming begins. When I stop streaming the symbol remains on Columbus until I switch off the car. When the car is switched on again no bluetooth syumbol next to the MDI until streaming starts. I think that on the newer Bolero and Columbus this can be controled using "setup", probably with a firware upgrade.
  18. Hello jj99. Do you know if everything is working (phonebook from phone and/or SIM card, sms etc. - i.e. every rSAP functionality of the new unit)with all HTC Android phones by installing the sofware from www.android-rsap.com? Regards
  19. With HTC touch HD i can get: 1. phone contacts, 2. sim contacts and 3. both of them
  20. What about the phone book. Can you download contacts stored on the phone or just the contacts stored on the SIM card?
  21. The ping wire is the antenna. The antenna on your unit is probably that green connector. Have a look at this http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/a5/VW-bluetooth-FAQ.htm
  22. Hello, A friend of mine bought a Yeti. He also has this steel casing covering the module. i have paired my HTC touch HD and it's only connected with the normal bluetooth connection (i.e. not an rSAP connection). It seems that this steel module is something like a GSMII module. I think that you have to check the connector on this unit. If it's like the photos on page one of this topic then probably will work. Then using the new unit your Nokia which has rSAP bluetooth, will give you sms on Columbus and also loud read out, bluetooth media player. Also the speach commands are working better that the old module. Also the phone book is automaticly updated if you enter new contacts in your phone. with the old unit you should manually update the phone book. I hope this will help you.
  23. I had a "C" unit before. I tried my old phone that is connected with normal bluetooth and then I tried my HTC. It is connected with rSAP. Delete your Galaxy from the car’s phones and try pair it again from the beginning. In my case when I turn on the bleutooth on my rSAP phone I have to wait for some seconds before turning the ignition switch on to get connected. In case I turn on phone’s Bluetooth and in 2-3 seconds I enter the car the phone is paired using standard Bluetooth. It seems that the rSAP of the phone is activated a bit later.
  24. I think that you already have the new unit!!! or probably the one that accepts only standard bluetooth protocol. If your non rSAP phone, like iPhone, is already connected with the car (and Columbus) for sure is connceted with standard bluetooth protocol. Text (sms) is only accesible if you connect an rSAP phone. Check your device model number and let us know. Regards
  25. Hello, As per my previous posts I have the new unit for few days now. Currently I'm using an HTC touch HD which supports rSAP. Sometimes the phone is connected using rSAP and sometimes another bluetooth connection. Could anyone explain this. Please note that on my HTC rSAP is always on. As the phone supports rSAP I prefer it because I can get the sms on Columbus and also I believe that the reception is better. Best Regards
