  1. just had exactly the same problem haha, fuse 15 it was!
  2. a nice collection of cars youve had/got there. the black fabia in the last pic ( nose to nose with the yellow one) im sure ive seen that around sheffield, and who ever owns it drives like an absolute idiot from what ive seen!
  3. when i first got my VRS, had her insured for no more than 10 minutes, took her out, got hit by a stone that fell from the back of a tipper lorry, right in my drivers field of view. not happy!!. sorry to hear about your bad luck mate!
  4. to be honest, the spongey rubber stuff is the same on both! so probably just as bad haha
  5. yea thats probably what it is, it eventually comes off. ive not noticed the difference in the reception, these are standard aerials for some citroens, so they would fit them to cars if they got crap reception.
  6. My winters are going to be CMYK- so dont copy me lol
  7. i had the same sort of feeling, its almost as though the aerial unscrews then is still held in place, i just wiggled it for a while and it came free, the citroen aerial just screws streight in no problem.
  8. i had to do my window regulator last week, my plastic clip broke resulting in the window getting stuck in the door. if its just your regualtor that caused the problem, they are £42.50 inc VAT from europarts, its just as good as the OEM skoda carrier i replaced. my car is an 04 and my carrier was bolted on, so im guessing yours will be a bolt on job too which will make it a lot easier. the only problem is you have to drill the rivels out of the speaker pod to transfer the speaker over.
  9. i have one of these in, get exactly the same reception as the standard one but it looks ten times better. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Genuine-Citroen-Peugeot-short-aerial_W0QQitemZ220571245774QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item335b121cce
  10. Thanks again for the nice comments, ive created a facebook group so i can update with times and locations thats im thinking of doing the photos, as well as prices for print outs etc. dunno if anyone would be interested in joining? (add me as a friend also!) http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/group.php?gid=105516949485963&ref=nf
  11. Got them finished this morning, definatley the best shoot ive done so far, shame about the rain making the cars look dirty
  12. you're all welcome guys, thaks for coming along, the weather will hopefully be better next time! just going through the shots now, they are looking really good, i should have them up by tomorrow night.
  13. Tonight is still on, even though its raining :( and my window regulator has gon on the passenger side so im not going in my car, im getting a lift! sods law indeed!! still hope some of you can make it!
  14. yea this is exacly right, having the camera mounted upside down allows the rig to be kept off the car so there isnt anything blocking the view of the car, just above it, in which case its a simple job to repalce in photoshop. just a couple of days let guys, mae sure the cars are nice and clean!!
