When I accellerate, say joining a dual carriageway or motorway my car gets to about 60ish and seems to have a stutter or pause in accelleration. Any suggestions where to start looking? No codes have come up or lights on dash. Happens in the different driving modes too. 67 plate 230 petrol DSG. 52000 miles.

Unfortunately Im looking for a rear section for mine. 2010 with 72k miles in blowing at the join between silencer and pipe leading to back box. So far no quotes under £400

Ive managed to find someone who had a scanner nearby. Theres an error code p0016 there. Not looking good reading back through the forums for that number....

Over the last week or two my FL vrs is struggling to start. I suspected battery so reolaced it today after checking it. It was only pulling 9v. Thought that would solve it but it hasnt. Yurninv the key and it turns over for between 5 and 10 seconds then starts. Drives normally but just the start up is causing me concern. Any ideas? 2.0 petrol TSI

Anyone had this fault recently? Misfire in chamber 2. Ive changed plugs but no difference. Next stop the coil pack im guessing? Engine has a stutter at about 2800 revs under load. Hope this is all linked!

- we have a VERY irritating problem with the front, top dashboard storage compartment - it keeps popping open! it started in the warm weather but now opens every 10 minutes or so! i'm sure the dealer will sort it but haven't seen it mentioned on these forums, so maybe we've got a dogy one, but still annoying. Did this get resolved? Mine is doing the same now! Know it's an old thread but my bugs are: Creaky door while elbow leaning on it... Dash compartment as above Gear knob chrome chipping away and stabbing my hand Aux input not working Other than that I love my FLVRS!

My wife has a 2.0l tfsi tt and gets around 380/400..... but she drives like a girl!!!

My mk1 vrs used to get around 350 mile a tank but my mk2 fl hasnt got anywhere near! More fun to drive i guess! :-)

I have something similar. Engine feels/sounds rough when i have the clutch at the biting point. Noticed this morning hence searching this topic. 2010 fl vrs petrol 18k miles.
