Just a little update. Bought one of the steel wheels that Carlston put me onto (links above).. Was a little unsure about what size tyre to put on after reading that space is a bit limited in the wheel well, But went with a 205/60R16 tyre and it fits perfectly. Thanks to everyone who helped me out..

Hi, Connected phone to the car via wifi hotspot, Didn't seem to do much. So what's the benefit of using my phone as a hotspot with the car? Can i get traffic info etc or does that just come when you throw cash at Skoda for the connect system (Roughly £40) ?.. Doesn't seem to do anything when connecting the phone up except for phone calls, Streaming music, Android auto (plugged in with cable)..

No, not one of those. I thought the same, Having to stick to 50mph especially if on a motorway, Not ideal, That's why i didn't go for a space saver either..

Well Eventually got sorted. Bought a (new) steel 16'' wheel from The - Wheel - Shop online, The wheel has an offset of 35, What size tyre would you recommend on this, 195/R60 16 or 205/R60 16 ? This wheel will spend it's life in the boot as a spare. thanks..

Seems to be the case here that not many cars are supplied with spare wheels. They say to cut down on weight,,, Less weight, Less emissions (supposedly).. More like cost cutting so the dealers can screw more money out of us.. The car i had before this was a Mazda CX 3, And that didn't have a spare wheel either, But there was hundreds out there Ebay etc, Spoilt for choice,,, But the Kamiq ''correct'' wheels seem to be thin on the ground. And of course trying to find one that will fit in the wheel well in the boot........

Some early Audi TT cars and Golfs are 5 x 100, Most of them i can find are 5x112 which of course won't fit.

That's just the wheel (with tyre) No jack, i've already got one.

Trying to find the ''correct'' wheel for this car is a pain.... The one the dealer's are quoting on is part number 65860101. It's not a full size wheel but it's not classed as a space saver either. Only want it to stick in the boot as a spare.., Don't trust the tyre sealer stuff that is supplied with the car.

Local Skoda dealer want £186,,Tried dealers down south and they are all the same price....

Sorry to resurrect this post but i've been searching online for weeks for a spare wheel, Loads of space savers but not too keen on them.. Would a steel wheel from a Golf mk4 (2003) 205/55/16 offset(ET) 42 fit.. PCD is 5 x 100..Thanks

Hi, Is there anyway of turning the bongs off when opening the drivers door to remind me that the engine is running, Because it's getting on my nerves 😁
