  1. I have an Octavia Mk3 Vrs 2017 facelift. The other week the rear wiper motor failed (screenwash getting out and in turn set off the boot opening warning). I've replaced the wiper motor with a used one and the boot alarm hasn't sounded since. However, since replacing the motor the interior/ambient lighting now doesn't work and the dash/headunit are very dim. The car is showing a fault code for component protection. Can anyone offer any ideas or know of a decent garage in the Yorkshire area that would be able to help? Thanks.

  3. Thanks for the above Carlston. Didn't realise a 17" would clear. I am going to stick with a space saver though as they seem to be cheaper to pick up used.
  4. If this is still available do you travel through Yorkshire at all?
  5. Could anyone confirm if an 18" space saver from a mk5 Golf fit a Mk3 Octavia VRS? After reading the various threads I am aware that it needs to be an 18" wheel to clear the caliper. Just want to make sure it will be the right offset etc. from a mk5 Golf. Thanks.
