  5. SOLD Octavia VRS space save spare wheel with foam insert, jack, wheel brace and genuine spare wheel holder clamp. Continental tyre 125/70 18 in as new condition. Located Bourne Lincolnshire but do travel around so may be able to meet up if not local.
  6. 4 original black extreme alloys 7.5J x19 ET 51 off my 245 VRS that has now gone. The alloys are all in very good condition with no kerb rash or other major damage. The wheels have done about 40,000 miles so have some small stone chips on and one has a very small mark on the rim as can be seen in the photo but have been very well looked after as can be seen in the photos. 2 have Michelin PS4's on with around 5mm tread and the other 2 have Pirelli Pzero's with around 4mm. Full set of wheel nuts along with the locking wheel nuts and the key for them. Looking for £700 Located Bourne Lincolnshire but do travel around so maybe able to arrange a meet up if you are a distance away.
  7. Yes, looked on auto trader and the price I'm paying is nearly £3K lees than cheapest one with similar mileage and as you say knowing the history is great.
  8. The price was very competitive and then I asked for a bit more off, which they did.
  9. Like several on here I took the cheap lease deal 2 years ago and car was due to go back in July, however I have enjoyed the car so much and due to not being able to find anything else to lease that I fancy at a reasonable price have decided to buy the car and will probably run it for another 3 years by which time it will be over 100,000 miles. Hope it stays reliable over that time.
  10. I find the brakes are the one weak part on the car, too easy to cook then and very little feel or feedback from them. With regards to Ferodo pads I had some ds2500 a few years ago on a Mitsubishi evo and they were fine for fast road use but not really up to track work. I found on the rear pads the pad material seemed to be coming away from the backing plate. I ended up using Carbotech xp10 pads that were awesome on the track but a bit noisy for the road and created a lot of dust. I guess it depends on your priorities but it is difficult to find a pad that works well on the track and the road without having a compromise on one of them. As said above replace the fluid with 5.1 and see how it goes from there.
  11. Fitted my winter wheels and tyres today, first chance I have had since getting back from holiday last weekend. Bought in the summer 4 new 18" alloys along with nexen wiguard sport 2 tyres that came out well in tyre tests. Not had budget before so will see how I get on this winter.
  12. Well at last picked mine up today, seems such a long time since I ordered it. Enjoying so far and will look forward to this week, should put about 600 miles on it.
  13. Well after a few set backs with the car arriving at the dealers and them pulling their figure out, hopefully will be picking mine up Saturday which is only 245 days since ordering, so 1 day for each pony. Let's hope they get the finance docs sorted for tonight so I can get them back.
  14. Mine is stuck at the port in the UK, getting fed up with the delays now, been there 10 days, have call my dealer and said I want to be able to pick up next Friday, if not I don't know when I will get a chance, could be August due to other commitments.
