electric windows not working from drivers side switch all open on their individual switches fitted a new switch but still the same old switch is working fine in another car got me beat

Only asked about the 1-9 conversion because I could of had the full golf engine box etc very cheap

What I'm asking is would something like an AMS bby BWB etc get me away if the ancillaries are swapped

The 1-4 is goosed think I'll look for a replacement lump does anyone know if the difference between the engine codes on the 1-4 is just the electrics. Injectors and turbo so could I use an older type engine mine is the 80 bhp bnv code

Thinking about putting a150 Pd in fabia bohemia its the 1-4 tdi. I would want to put the six speed box in aswell Is it a straight forward swap might even consider doing a 2-0 pd if it's viable my engine is gone and the dmf and clutch are in their last legs

forgot to say the cam sensor has been changed the reason the specialist didnt do the job was he had too much on at the time

just had timing belt done on 2.0tdi cr car had never failed to start beforehand now it statrs from cold every time but it can happen within a mile or 100 miles.once switched off it wont restart tried wiggling keys,etc give it ten mins and it fires it might fire straight up theres no reason behind it fault code p0016 comes up it then wont start if you clear it once started the car will run as far as you want,knock it off and back on it might fire up or not let it cool and it will fire up been to a very good specialist who says it will be a timing issue
