I have had the same issue for a few years now on a 2016 superb it sometimes is ok but the Nearside pin doesnt pertrude far enough to lock. I had the box replaced under warranty when it was covered. I will try some WD and a wiggle and hopefully I can ditch the Electricians tape that is currently keeping it shut haha!!.#

Droplets rather than misting, I have had the misting on both over the years its always been short lived for me. Ill try the hair drier.

Thanks Patent, Tried the sunshine for a few solid days, as the car rarely moves when I am at work and its in the sun most of the day. Didn't have any effect. I was thinking hairdryer next. Obviously not causing any issue, but I wonder if it will fail an MOT??

Hi All, This is the first issue I have had with my 2016 Superb. As you can see the nearside headlight is full of condensation. Its gradually got worst over the last 3 months or so. The offside is clear. Would anyone have any thoughts on how to cure this issue? Any sources for reasonably priced spares? new or used headlights? Thanks in advance. Dan

Sorry for late reply but i have had mine replaced under warranty within the first 18 months and now it is doing it again. My car is coming up 4 years in April.

Just to add to my post. I had a a long (for me trip) 150+ miles and towards the end of the journey it was happening aleast every other time. The return journey was a little less stop / start and it didn't happen at all. Overall quite frustrating.

Hi All, not posted for a long while had my Superb business for over 18 months. Ever since I have had it, very occasionally the Auto Hold doesn't release after the Start stop. Its not every time maybe only 10% of the time. Another depress of the clutch and it then frees. It goes with out saying the fault is never present when I am at the dealers. Has this happened to anyone else.

I have the 1.6TDI greenline engine and mine has just come on saying oil service in 1500 miles which will put me at about 9K. This is my 3rd Superb & greenline and have always had variable service and usully expect 17- 19K intervals. I haven't RTFM! yet but will have a look soon.

Hi Pesmog, So far for me it feels a more smoother drive the 6th gear helps when cruising and it still picks up nicely if you need to overtake. Ignoring my signature as the average is still bedding down the MPG is marginly better filled up at the weekend and fuelly has it at 55mpg. My commute is 26 miles on a good mix of single lane A roads and dual carriageways. Not had it on a big run yet so can't see how that effects it hopefully that will see it at 60+mpg. The new maxidot gives you 3 options on the avg mpg which is useful, current trip, since refuel & lifetime.

Collected my new Superb on Friday Afternoon. Orderded on the 16/12/2015. Build week was originally BW14 then broought forward to BW11 and landed in the port of Tyne at the begining of W14. Nothing to dislike at the moment.

Hi There. No pictures yet I will post some when it looks cleaner. Cam belt is getting changed today as the water pump is being replaced under warranty it made sense to replace it whilst doing the pump.

I ordered mine the week before Christmas, was told then BW14 since that time it has moved forward to BW11. I rang to check if all was going to plan and was told it was completed in BW11 and is waiting at the port in Emden. So hopefully 3 -4 weeks from then sometime in mid to end of April. I didn't have any extras on mine just colour maxi dot and full spare wheel. Mine is Business Greenline. Fingers crossed that all goes to plan from here.

April 2013 13 Plate pre face lift Skoda Superb Greenline Elegance in Rosso Brunnello with cream leather interior and walnut trim. All as standard. I need to keep this car until my new one arrives in Mid April. By which time it will have C63,000 miles on. Full Service history. It will have full years MOT and 4 Brand new tyres (getting them all done next week) The car is in the DL7 post code during the week days and the TS8 post code at weekends and evenings It has the had the timing belt changed at just over 60000. Any questions please ask. It has been soley driven by me as my company car and we are the only registered keeper. We are looking to sell it for £9995 but are open to offers.
