Maybe I answered my question hear (after reading all the posts) maybe a battery problem as mine was replaced about 5 years ago ,,, and on reflection it may be getting a tad lazy on cranking,
  4. I've just found an Octy vRS part that I've had (& not used) for donkeys. It's a part of the turbo ducting and has an OEM part # 1KO 145 828 F. Is this of use to anybody?

  8. One more Ken, If I need to 'top-up' the coolant, do I need distilled water or more of the pink stuff?
  9. My 2.0TFSI has pink fluid in the coolant reservoir, anybody now if the model came with waterless coolant or pink antifreeze.

  14. I'm going along the same thought lines as yourself Graham. Sachs will do the job just fine, had all the tee shirts, bells & whistles in the past but the extra cost (Bilstein & co) don't wash any more. Thanks for the advice.
  15. Service crew tell me N/S/F shock is showing a slight leak. So now I need to replace the front pair. Question, OEM or the Sachs(?) version of Euro Car Parts for approx. 66 squids each.
  16. Try Superskoda.com, there are some crackers on there & cheaper than OEM.
