  1. my car is all fixed now, it was a software update needed to fix the issue, which took a while for Skoda tech dept to solve. All done though and it came back with the dash satnav updated which was a bonus. Really good dealership service through this.
  2. It’s a fault where every time the car is started a warning comes on ‘proactive occupant protective system is restricted’. The ACC recall was done then this happened. 3 weeks and they’re trying to find a solution
  3. I’ve just been given a 25 plate Kodiaq Sportline to use by the dealer and map view isn’t working in this either. My own Kodiaq bought new in Nov is in for another tech issue which so far there’s no solution for. Škoda are apparently working on developing one but I’m not thrilled
  4. so 2 weeks on and no further forward. Škoda are working on a tech download to fix the issue but no timescale. The dealer has swapped my polo loan car for a 25 plate Kodiaq Sportline. I think it’s going to be a long road ahead.
  5. Yes I think it is, mine came on and then stayed each time I started. The dealership is trying to do a software update with Skoda, but the cars been in a week so I’m thinking it’s not going well!
  6. Hi, my mk2 Kodiaq SEL bought new in Nov 24 is currently at the dealer after the dash warning came up Proactive Occupant Protection System Is Restricted every time is start the car. I’m told the dealer is working with Skoda on a solution. The cars been there for 5 days and this isn’t filling me with confidence. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?
  7. At first I thought this was just spongey brakes that lack feel, but as Warrior193 said, mine would seem a different issue. It’s going in on Thursday so will hopefully get the verdict. It’s the same model, a 1.5e-tec, and I’ve the same background as you and never encountered this before!
  8. Thank you, I’ll be booking it in on Monday!
  9. Does anybody else find their brakes need pumping to get the car to stop? I’ve tried pushing the pedal to slow down, and by pushing all the way in, the car still hasn’t fully stopped. Pumping the brakes seems the only way to wake them up and sometimes there’s a weird clunk noise. Is this just me, or has anyone else found this?
  10. I fully sympathise, exactly the same nearly happened to me today. In 6 years of owning a Karoq this only activated twice for good reasons, in 4 months of the Kodiaq it’s activated over 12.
