  1. Now all sorted. As above, my unit came with 3M tape so I stuck the GPS box inside the gap where the navigation unit slots in so no messy wires. Fault codes all clear, happy days with a cheap fix
  2. Quick update. The unit works perfectly. I need to find a neater way to feed the cable through, it currently protrudes around the upper fascia beneath the hazard light button. More importantly, I need to find someone with VCDS diagnostic equipment to reset the passenger airbag light 😒
  3. Perfect thank you. Waiting for mine to arrive in the post so hopefully I get the same success
  4. Would this work? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282685470104
  5. Sorry to bring this up again, I've searched around and there are some threads about this but I couldn't find something conclusive My Superb has GPS issues and the navigation shows 0/13 satellites being displayed. Perhaps water ingress has damaged the shark fin roof aerial. Is there a quick fix, such as a GPS booster, that has worked for others and can anyone point me in the direction of one? I see some people have had success with aftermarket items and I'm willing to give it a shot first. If not, is it a simple DIY to replace the roof shark fin aerial? Thanks in advance.
  6. I've had a couple of mk1 Fab vRS' previously aswell as a mk2 and mk3 octy vRS. I now have a Skoda Rapid daily so I'm familiar with the brand although I havent had dealings with Listers. No particular rush at the moment but I can't imagine they could make a mess of showing me some cars
  7. I think I'll end up doing this. May also consider a Yeti now - thanks
  8. I'm looking for a Fabia vRS mkII estate for my wife but I'm not sure if it'll work for us size wise. Are there any fabia mk2 eatate owners in/near Nuneaton that would be kind enough to let me see the boot space/rear seats? Doesn't have to be a VRS. In return, I can show you my S205 c63s Thanks
  9. Thanks, I'll get in touch with them for a quote. Looks like some mods may have messed about with my signature as I've been away for a while
  10. Hello fellow Skoda drivers, peace to all of you. It's good to be back with a group of normal people, no one-upmanship with this manufacturer. After many years away from Skoda, and this forum, I've just purchased a used mk3 Octavia vrs estate in black magic. It's a diesel. I've previously owned 2x corrida red Fabia vRS' and a mk2 Octavia vRS. Since then, I've owned 16 BMW's (the nicest of which was a 430bhp 340i with MPPSK), 4 Audi's, a VW and a Seat. I must admit, the Octavia feels really good. One thing which did catch me out was that the MY14 models don't come with cruise control as standard. I'll definitely be needing it. I'm sure there are retrofit options available but do I need to go through Skoda or can anyone recommend another company that can offer this retrofit? I look forward to catching up on content, learning more about the car and hopefully not putting a hole in my wallet with mods Ahmed.
  11. I believe someone will be viewing tomorrow and has first dibs. I hope they don't buy it so that I might
  12. Sorry - I can't make out the tyre sizes, any ideas? I wonder if they would clear 312's...
