Does anyone know of anywhere that will cut a Door Lock Repair Kit Front that would fit the area round the key barrel on my VRS 2004 IU5? Apparently Skoda confirmed that 2 of the 5 parts (the rings) are obsolete and needed to find them. Similar to the attached however these rings have an extra side and they dont fit. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers

Replacing Battery In Key Fob...Help
Lynchy replied to cjh8280's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk I (1996-2004)
Its been a while since, but came across when looking - cheers for the pictures. Replaced battery but still not working. Out of 10 trips tp the car 1 attempt will work, all others is key to unlock. Flashes red on rcl when pressing and light on door permanently flashing every 5 seconds. Im guessing its maybe the rcl's coming to its end? (octavia vrs mk1 2004). Cheers cheere -
Het there, there's a few topics on the sane ish problem, but not quite sure what to do! The octavia mk1 has dealocked the mecanism, and I cant open the door to get the panel off. Problem was it worked unlocking and locking the door 3 times, and now it's stopped again. Will this be a loose connection, or dud motor, or something else? Think I might just hand it in to workshop to fix it,but wanted to look at what it may be. Any way of unlocking the door when the deadlock is on? Then will I be able to tell with voltmeter testing? Cheers very much Lynchy

New front speakers - the connections!?
Lynchy replied to Lynchy's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk I (1996-2004)
Fli F16's, deeper so had to ram them in, but pretty good. Much better at louder, and doesnt distort with bass. Couldve got better but still pretty pleased with them http://www.sparesworld.co.uk/acatalog/F16-F3.html Maybe best and easier to go with the models with shallow depth (56mm or so). cheers -

Cheers dood - not looked at the drivers, but passengers is red/brown on each connector. Do i cut there, add brown to brown and red to red, then use them for the single + and -? Cheers -
Hey fowks, front left speaker was blown, so got new speakers - fli iv. I have no idea how to change the connection from the old speaker the new ones. There are two clicks in the old, and one 1+ and 1- on the new. How to go about with 4 cables into this (2 cables for each connection) to alter into the new - and it to work!! Any help or points be greatly received. Cheers cheers speakers.jpg

Does anyone know (as I can't get under with me bad back) how, or what connects the side skirt to the car? Is it bolts, screws, or something else? Cheers
