QQ: why did you disable the wireless phone charger ? Been using it for years in my Model Y and intend to do the same with our Elroq when it turns up .
  2. That's brilliant, will be great to see some pics when you get it
  3. Just heard back from Skoda, my VRS is going into build next week, on track for mid September delivery.
  4. Sw1 replied to Smert's topic in Škoda Elroq
Just checked it out and it looks similar to what I have ordered, 21" are still an option as they were when I ordered them. Only real changes is the Matt Grey (I would have gone for that) over the hyper green , also two tone roof i.e. colour on car with black roof. The rest looks the same as my options that I ordered. Mine was ordered in the last week of June with a build date of mid August, hopefully it's the new model year
  5. Sounds like a good combo, did you get the heat pump? I think they are the only manufacturer that charges for it, crazy. Our Tesla goes back on Friday , they were more efficient then I thought at arranging pick up. Hopefully only a 6 week wait for our Elroq, driving our superb estate in the meantime
  6. Awesome, great to see they are creeping into the wild, same reasons why I went for the RS
  7. Cool, thanks for posting initial views, is this the one advertised on Auto trader a week or so back? It was unregistered , it looks like the same. You may be the first to have a VRS in the wild.
  8. Very nice, would be great to hear your early thoughts and get some pics , enjoy

Excellentand I hope you enjoy it, mine should hopefully be built in next couple of weeks and then hopefully here mid Sep Very nice spec and identical to mine ,I went for hyper green which is going to be interesting. Hopefully mine will be built in the next couple of weeks and shipped for mid Sep, nice to see another person who has ordered a VRS
  10. Awesome, sounds fantastic . Wirth regards to the brakes, I have heard they are drums on the rear even on the VRS which is a shame. A car this big should have some solid boots. Saying that on our Model Y i barely use the brakes due to regen braking which works so well
  11. A couple of good reviews up of UK cars in Wales last week. I have this exact spec on order, pretty much as I expected. Not massively sporty with a bit of extra oomph of the Sportline 85, Extra kit and 4WD. You don't buy this sort of car if you are looking for a sports car. Like my Model Y LR AWD , It's a good all round car with some decent speed if you want it . Mine is apparently being built in mid Aug for delivery mid/end of Sep
  12. Awesome, how you getting on with it so far?
  13. I have a VRS on order and they are apparently included with that , I also saw a Youtube VRS review on a UK car Wales this week. She shows the ventilated seats in the review.
  14. That's brilliant,I think the black magic pearl is a fantastic colour. They had an Enyaq Sportline sitting in the showroom with 21" wheels. Looked brilliant , I would have gone for that with our vRS but the wife didn't want another black car
  15. Nice to see someone else has ordered the vRS and not just me , I'm really looking forward to it given the standard 60 Edition drove so well, this will pretty much get me to similar performance of my model Y (1 sec slower to 60 but you very rarely accelerate at them speeds unless you want to look like an idiot all the time), the handling and comfort were nice and day better The green is going to be hit or miss, I was looking at black also but my other half complained and said not another black car (She may live to regret this), worse case it's going to look like a mid like crisis and people will take pity on me . I also liked the red but our current Tesla is red , we also have a white superb estate. Was very close to the metallic blue or matt grey.
  16. Thanks @mac11irl yep it's not small but smaller then the model Y and not as much as a compromise as the Alpine a290 or Renault 5, it's an interesting market segment for EVs i think, they are either massive or small with too many compromises. This tends to be the sweet sport, well for us anyway. Looking forward to trying a Skoda EV
  17. Thanks, the colour was an interesting gamble. We are either going to love it or hate it I think. I was close to going with the metallic blue but I think that colour is on most new Skoda's, do like it though. Was also thinking off the Matt Grey
  18. HI All, I haven't posted on Briskoda for a while, have a Superb MK 3 280 484 L&K which has been an amazing car, we used to have a Kodiaq but sold that a few years back to get a Tesla Model Y AWD LR. We had an Enyaq on order but Skoda couldn't supply during Covid so ended up going to Tesla. After having had enough of the bad build quality and other bits I decided to look at the Elroq to replace, we've just ordered an Elroq VRS with all the options ticked (probably a waste of money) . First got the itch to get rid of the Model Y a couple of months back when we moved and I realised A) How wide it is and we don't need a car as big given we also own the Superb B) how bad the turning circle was (It's really a thing with a model Y), also general ride quality and then you have the brand challenges. Anyway, test drove an Elroq 60 Edition last weekend and really liked it and then saw the 0% on the Elroq combined, my wife test drove yesterday and then we went and ordered. Very impressed with the build quality and ride, I went with the Elroq vRS as I wanted some of the gadgets but wanted DCC and then the similar performance to my Model Y. The 85 Sportline was close but by the time I had specced it up there wasn't much difference between that and the vRS price wise Spec wise it's a monster, I know it will depreciate (hopefully not as bad as the Model Y) but if all goes well we may end up keeping Elroq vRS Hyper Green (Time will tell but from all the Youtube videos released this week it certainly won't get lost) Maxx Pack 21" Wheels Winter Pack Heatpump (Why this isn;'t standard amazes me) Really good spec to anything else out there , looked at the New Model Y but put off from the new updates and Tesla as a brand now, Renault 5 was too small, Alpine was the same but overpriced (I used to own an a110), looked at Megane / Scenic but didn't tick the boxes. Polestar too expensive for what I wanted. The Elroq ticks all the boxes including being a great size Delivery is estimated at 12 weeks
  19. HI All, I havne't posted on here in a while, have a Superb MK 3 280 484 L&K which has been an amazing car, we used to have a Kodiaq but sold that a few years back to get a Tesla Model Y. After having had enough of the bad build quality and other bits I decided to look at the Elroq to replace, we've just ordered an Elroq VRS with all the options ticked (probably a waste of money) . Seems absoultey fantastic next to the model Y build quality and ride / comfort wise.
  20. Hi All, Thanks for your help with some questions I asked over the weekend. Test drove the Enyaq 80 today, really like it so we placed an order. Pretty much ticked every option box. Now the wait , around 3 -4 months but we will see. The spec is: 80x sportline - racing blue 21" wheels All the plus packs (lights, comfort, drive, parking, etc) Sunroof Retractable towbar (read here about issue with bike racks) Came out at 56k Obviously you will never get the money back on all the packs but wanted to order something I will really like. We are part exchanging my wife's Kodiaq as they offered us a great deal on it
  21. Hi All, Just getting ready to order the Enyaq on Monday if our test drive goes well. Was looking at the head pump but from this thread it doesn't appear to be worth it, any change of opinion from anyone on this?
  22. Sw1 replied to Sw1's topic in Skoda Enyaq
Thanks for the responses, think I will stick with the 80x , will probably place an order next week. They lady at the dealership told me lead times were shorter for the 80x (probably due to price).
  23. Hi All, Not been on the site for a while but had many Skoda's over the years, given this week's fuel crisis it's confirmed my choice to go Electric. Going to chop in my Superb 280 l&k, been a great car for the last four years. Test drive of an Enyaq 80 on Monday, have a very high spec 80x done on the configurator (around 55k) with every option ticked. I hear there is a vRS coming, anyone know when this will be available for order. Debating placing the 80x order next week unless the vRS is a big difference . Guessing around a 4-5 month lead time Thanks.
