  2. Hi, Thanks, glad you love it) No i dont mind about pic. Where did you found it? My car is not so popular even in the russian scene, so im very surprised) I have a set of monzas too, and a pair of vizzolas. Autostrada have a nice italian spirit, but made in japan, thats kind funny, but anyway they are cool, and very rare)
  3. Sold LMs, now installed Autostrada Modena 17x9 all round et-24F, 27R 205/45 r17 Kumho SPT
  4. I wired cutout to brake pedal. I Want to make remote control and factory alarm work, when engine is idling.
  5. I've started here but there's no response http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/183914-my-dropped-octy/page__view__findpost__p__2229039 Hi everyone! A little Update here and i got a question for the car electronics specialists! Installed A'pexi turbo timer last week, but there's a well known problem... factory alarm system not working when the engine is on, because of ComfortControlModule (cant close/open doors by remote control key ). Its not a big problem for me personally, because i've installed an inderpendent aftermarket alarm system before, BUT it wold be better to make factory alarm work normally too. So I read about turbotimer installation on VWVortex (jetta mk4) - problem there was solved by installing a relay that cutting a fuse wire of CCM. Fuse â„–6 was the key there, but i haven't one in my fuse box as well as the fuse Black/Purple wire from the back. Can anyone help me? Where is a CCM located and how can i get to it or it's wiring?...

  7. Oh thanks!) I have a sump Shield -3mm of steel, but anyway, can't go so low all the time, only on summer days usually I think roads here are worse than even in Poland... Maybe you know old Russian adage, in English it sounds like a: "There are two disasters in Russia - Fools and Roads..."

  10. Thanks Mate! I Think there are no Skoda cars in US (maybe I'm wrong) Maybe we should search for one and then conquer the whole world!!!
  11. Kazan Helicopter Factory -is the key) Civil and millitary Heli's are made here. This is a removed from the service light helicopter based in one of the holiday houses as a monument. Nowdays Moskvich is a rarity, very solid car, i drove one too. God help you if you get in a head to head contact with this piece of thick metal)))) Some nice pics of a well-made Resto -cal Moskvitch:
  12. Everything I do with my car, i do myself. I Got experience in car building, engineering and Track-Racing, but last year I've sold My Racer, and bought this nice and comfortable Octavia. Maybe one day i'll build another racer, but now i trying to get a car that will be beautyful and comfortable in everyday use. Biggest thing i've done yet is restoration of the rare BBS LeMans Work i made with Wheels: And My Racer LADA 2113 if anyone interested ( 900kg fwd 4cyl- 8valve 1600cc, about 100-120hp (78 stock + Full 4-2-1 Exhaust, manifold, racing camshaft, big valves, valve springs, ported head, big injectors, Hi flow intake) Cup suspension -no rubber just bearings , anti-roll bars, Struts, Big Brakes, racing Pads, 5-speed short Gearbox, Forged 14x6j wheels, Toyo R888 tyres, No interior, Sparco Bucket seat, Sabelts.)
  13. Thanks! Agree, Octavia 1U have a forms and design that allows you to use only the classic solutions, if you want to get a sweet look. It was hard to find a proper wheels, to get a "supercar" spirit, i wanted.
  14. Thanks guys!!! It's a big honor for me to hear that good comments! A few more Photos: Winter is very hard time Here (Loads of snow, crazy cold, etc), so i raised it at the possible maximum for a winter time:
  15. I'm from the middle belt of the country (like Moscow, 800km east of), so the weather is poor. This month we have a catastrophic amount of snow. The temperature difference over the last year was from -38 to +38 C in my region, given that the winter was too much snow, but in summer there was no rain at all. This is an anomaly, but our parents and elders hundreds of years lived in such conditions somehow, it means that everything is OK So I'm just spun up my coilovers for the winter Thanks for the welcome!)
  16. Thanks for good comments Everyone! I've got a lot of work to do with this car, so further I'll post about any mods here)
  17. It looks loke You have "too much money" TWICE, because my car Twice cheaper, than your Superb )))
  18. Thanks! Looking for a wider Rim Lips now 8F 9R)
  19. Hi everyone! I'm just registered at Briskoda. I'm From Russia, so I'm sorry if you'll find my english bad . I beloved VAG cars long time ago, but owned my red queen just last spring. Its an 2010 Octavia 1U called WTS version, so it's almost new car (now 15000 km on the dash). In some ex-ussr countries octavia was produced till last summer. My is one of the last produced cars with 1.8t engine (AUM), maybe last either. Exterior fully repeats vRS (bumpers, muffler, spoiler, Spider 16" wheels), except brakes calipers color and size and side mirrors. Sporty black Seats inside, S3 -look steering wheel, climatronic, black roof upholstery. I love v-dub and stance scenes so I made some mods in these directions: - JOM Blueline coilovers - Fully renewed 17"x7,5j rare BBS LM (JDM -Spec "F1 championship limited" (fully gold-colored) Were in very bad condition when i bought them, so there was very BIG work to do: repainted centers, by-hand mirror-polished rim lips, centers are mounted from the backside of rims to increase offset and lip size... -Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 tyres 215/45 - 5 mm spacers - vRS Badges all-round. And now the most interesting! The Photos:
