  1. CarShades for Skoda Superb Hatch (2017+). Fit in the rear windows and tailgate. They are brilliant as they allow you to still put the windows down and they fill the entire window as they are perfectly fitted. We had them for while our children were younger in our 2017 superb hatch. Please note, these will not fit estate models. Easy to fit, can assist with fitting if you’re local to Northwich, Cheshire. £45.
  2. Blue Mk3 Octavia VRS hatch, today at Oulton Park. Followed you around the track for a few laps!
  3. If I find time I’ll do a video How-to tomorrow if it helps
  4. I had the same on one of mine, I thought it was a cracked unit but it’s just muck. Really easy job to remove - unclip the side piece (piece circled in red on the picture) of the centre grill by pulling firmly (2 hand grip to spread load, reducing chance of breaking anything.) Then it’s a torx screw that secures the fog light unit, release the fog light which just pulls out. Then clean up, refit in reverse.
  5. They fit better around the seals than they did on my Octavia, but they haven’t mis-shapen the seal. I only use the rack a few times a year when we travel to family/holidays and it’s a 10-15 minute job to fit or remove carefully.
  6. Thanks, as already answered they’re the standard Vega on the Sportline.
  7. I got mine from www.ukmetalplates.com It was £35 for the pair but they’re made to legal spec and was very pleased with them.
  8. Had the front tyres replaced with Michelin PS4s 👍 so wearing the same all round now, and gave it a quick wipe down with BSD.
  9. Bought my Superb Sportline from them last year, traded in my mk2 VRS and was satisfied with the cost to change. Always painful to see the markup they put the car on sale at afterwards, but not as many people interested in private sales these days and the hassle that comes with selling. Nice shiny new showroom. Test drive good, demonstrated any equipment above my VRS spec such as ACC and new infotainment system. All minor defects I pointed out were rectified before pickup including 2 small scuffs on the alloys which were repaired. On collection the car was well prepared and in the collection bay. Left me to inspect the car and no rush to get me away so I could check everything was good. Said to come back in when I was finished and we’d sign everything off and tax the car online. Said I’d receive a phone call a few days after to check I was happy but never received the call. Would I buy from there again? If I was buying used again I would for the right car, but it wouldn’t be my first port of call when looking to buy new unless they were advertising an outstanding deal.
  10. Interested to hear opinions on anybody using a DTUK box on their 150 TDI. How does it perform with the DSG box and any issues or regrets? I remember reading somewhere that the gearbox isn’t rated for the extra torque...
  11. Surprised they’ve not added a Time Waster fee too.
  12. Nothing on my 17 month old Vegas, but I don’t expect them to stay perfect.
  13. Fairfax Bodyshop in Rochford did a great job on my previous car.
  14. @JonSIII Don’t you have this issue too that resulted in physio?
  15. I don’t believe there is actually any law in the UK about needing the same tread pattern across the axel... but it’s best practise to have the same.
  16. I have a Thule wing bar setup on my Sportline with 2x 598 carriers. It fits really well, better than it did on my Octavia. The 598s are really easy to use too and with the T-bar mounting you could likely get your 4 bikes on the roof, though you may have to mount them alternating forward/rear facing. Another thing to consider is, can you transfer your roof bars to your next car whenever that may be? All I needed for the superb was the purchase of a new fitting kit for the superb and was still able to use the existing wing bars. Photo is with just 1 carrier on, but gives you an idea of the room on the roof.
  17. My factory fit rear camera has a cleaning nozzle, but I’ve also the rear wiper so I’m unable to confirm if it would still have one without the wiper.
  18. I have the rear windscreen too, but it’s slightly damaged. It can still be fitted and happy to include it if you want it.
