  1. Has anyone managed to get speed limit showing on digital dash as well as on navigation maps. Our Kamiq Monte Carlo had it from new but having changed to SEL Executive and assumed it would be there but no joy from dealer as yet as to why. Living in Drakefords socialist republic of Wales we find speed limits constantly changing.

  2. Contacted by nearest main dealer (live in mid Wales for my sins now) 50 miles away where last serviced AND Hampshire dealer I bought car from that air -con gas needed replacing as car two years old. Never happened with previous Skodas l've had. Queried message, booked car in and drove to Furrows at Oswestry to be told " sorry but your car doesn't need re-gassing"! Three and a half hours and fuel wasted.
Anyone else suffered this Skoda UK incompetence?

I am just thankful I do not have this system fitted to my car, it would drive me crazy. In advanced driving I train drivers to avoid signalling where there are no other road users that would benefit.

So why would you be changing lane if no other vehicles about?

  4. Averaged 51.1mpg today on trip from Hampshire to North Norfolk in new L&K 170DSG with 500 miles on clock at start today. Tried to keep below 80mph on m/way. Impressed.

Can't get my head round wanting paddles when you've bought an automatic! Same with turning off daylight running lights. No interest in electric seat - always seemed sooooooo slooooow to work.Very comfortable driving position in my Yeti.Must be an age thing.

  5. Ordered a L&K 170 4x4 last week.(3rd Yeti) as I felt it was pointless adding sunroof etc. to an Elegance. Brown seats of no consequence to me as I find sitting on them the best way to drive so won`t notice them and rest of interior very similar to Elegance.

  6. So thats what the daily mail call a 'tongue lashing'.

Clearly they didn't see the show.

What a cracking review and very funny as well, particularly liked the Ferrari having to slow down on the rough patch.

I might even watch top gear again one day.

    :D

People actually read and believe the Daily Mail?
