I remember when mine was that clean and shiny 😞.
Out of curiosity, when in August? Trying to work out if it was a month or more like two after me - I ordered mine at the start of July and it turned up at the end of October, which is ridiculously quick compared to most people... but my point is that the gap between us ordering was a lot shorter than the gap between deliveries. Perhaps when it's the other way around, we'll be able to conclude that things are finally getting better (or I'm applying too much logic to this!).
Or, has yours been sat at the dealer for a while waiting for a '22 plate?
Ordered right at the start of August and arrived at the dealer 24th Feb.
extras were Canton, ACC, winter and family packs + usb in mirror

I have no idea if this will work:
Ordered August last year.

I collected my VRS last Friday, so they do arrive eventually 😂 All the options I wanted were included, so nobody needs to worry about Canton not arriving. It’s a fantastic car and well worth the wait.
Good luck everyone!

Not sure I agree with the discount thing either, sounds like you all need tin foil hats!
mine is ready to go. Collecting next Friday.

My VRS is at status 38 now and waiting for a boat. I’m hoping to collect in March all being well.
245ps is plenty for me in a daily driver whilst I’m carting 3 kids around. I’m not sure why you’d need more in that context. I have a VX220 at around 300hp per tonne if I wanted to go quicker (which in England means for 5 seconds before you end up behind the next egg timer).

That’s quite interesting. Great it’s got all the bits you wanted, but the electric child locks make me think it was part built last year and finished off more recently. Although cars have been appearing with Canton, I don’t believe they’ve had the electric child locks. I’ll confirm when mine arrives soon.

Info is available a few pages back, but it’s a VRS ordered first week in august. Canton, ACC, family and winter packs and a few other bits.

I got confirmation that mine was built yesterday. Just waiting to see if that means built built, or half built and now waiting on a line. Hopefully it’s the first scenario and it’ll be here shortly. I’ve asked for collection in March.

Agree on Skoda being not very good at this generally. I had an Octavia Black Edition on order in 2014, after 5 months of waiting I was told a manual wouldn’t be available, so was told cancel or pay for dsg if I wanted the car. In the end I paid half!

Checked with ŠKODA Webchat today and was advised lead time for VRS is currently 28 weeks. Does anyone really know, I wonder.
Bizarre isn’t it. Saw the system with my own eyes. Must be changing all the time

Not quiet, additionaly the side detection was disconinued, Area view and the CANTON music system also had to be removed due from my order to unavailble. My order was pre December.
I can only repeat what the dealer told me, I cant vouch for the accuracy of the statement. However I had already told him I was cancelling the order before he told me they had heard from skoda - use or ignore as you see fit.
I’m afraid you’ve been fed really bad information. Mine is due soon with those extras and it was ordered in August of last year. There was also another guy on the Facebook group who collected his last week with those extras. Customer services confirmed all this around Christmas time.
anything ordered after December 11th didn’t have access to those items, but yours would’ve had them.
I already have 3 Kodiaqs, enquired about another VRS weekend before last and was told it’s now 14-20 weeks.
Sadly, it sounds like your dealer isn’t up to much.

Placed my order end of Sept, in December had to modify the order (skoda discontiued extras) spoke to dealer today who told me they have been advised of delays to VRS of upto 52 weeks - presumably new orders. Still dont have a build date so have called it a day and cancelled my order. Will revisit once the supply situation calms down, then again Audi RS3 for pretty much the same price..... might just switch queues
how strange. Only extra that was changed was the family pack, but it was only a switch change. All other extras are being honoured that were ordered pre December. Anything after fell onto the revised specs. Also, delivery isn’t 52 weeks for the VRS. Me thinks the dealer is talking crap…. Find a different one -
Regards what code stage mine is at, I’m sorry, I have no idea. Next time I get an update I’ll ask the dealer.

Can I ask, when did they come back to you to confirm your build week?
I think it was around early to mid-December

I’ve just discovered this thread! I ordered a VRS to replace my 69 plate edition (decent trade in etc) in early August. I ticked the box for family pack, canton, ACC, winter pack and usb. I have a confirmed acceptance of order and build week Is week 5. I’ve been in touch (many times) with the dealer and Skoda customer service and they’ve all assured me the cars ordered with canton will be honoured, so I’m fully expecting it to turn up with it. If it doesn’t I’ll be considering options.
what did irk me was I recently enquired about adding a towbar to the order. The system allowed me to make the changes (also added sleep pack) as long as I agreed to pay the base car price increase at the same time. It all went through and then got rejected by the factory.
Im not to fussed about the delays, they’re understandable + I have the edition and a sport line to make do, but I do find customers getting their cars delivered, who ordered significantly later than others, to be a bit of a **** take.
anyway, back to keeping fingers crossed!

Everything now sold. Sorry for the delay in marking items as sold.

Roofbars now sold via eBay. I’ve still got the Travall Dog Guard and divider available. All reasonable offers considered.

No worries, I suspect they can get postage cheaper than me!

Hi there, sorry for the delay. The box is about 110cm x 100 x 8cm
postage looks to be £40, so you’re looking at £125 all in.
-
I see you're in France, so i'd need to get a quote on postage. It's very large, so it might be quite expensive, but i'll check for you.
Steering wheel now sold.

Ah, that's a shame. If you change you mind feel free to make an offer.
Everything still available...

I had this flash up earlier. I think I can manage removing the engine cover 😂 Not exactly a major component.
