Okay, ill have a look for some 16/17's then, Would putting the sport springs on make any difference?

Do you think that 18" wheels are gonna fit your car, would assume you may need wheel spacers at least.

I need some advice....

I've got a Silver Mk2 Fabia in 2 trim 1.2, I'm thinking of a set of new wheels and tyres for it...

I have the sport springs from the sport model to go on the car (it is currently on the standard springs), and its currently running on 15" wheels.

Im looking at two sets and i cant make up my mind which to go for, and also, i need some advice on if they'll fit the car or if ill have to do any additional mods to get them to fit fine?

Long nose pliers on the plastic holder does the trick, failing that, a CAREFUL pull on the wires in a straight direction

[Induction kit?]

Hi All,

Im thinking about getting an induction kit (£70) for my fabia 1.2,

Would the performance increase be noticeable?

Its supposed to save some fuel too? is this a real world statement or fantasy?

Also, Would i be better just going for a K&N box filter (£30) instead of the induction kit?

[DRL's not in the fog lights]

I have my DRl's wired up to the sidelights so they are active with those, it just ads that extra bit of visibility and presence. They arent stupidly bright either, never had any hassle but plenty of compliments

[HID lighting]

Ive got one of the ebay HID kits on mine at 8000K, DEAD easy to fit (there is a bloody good guide on here too)

never been flashed, never been moaned at.

got the rocker switch for the levelling (set to 0.5/1)

got no washers on it but i might get a pathetic dribble nipple so if anything ever happens they actually 'wash'

Highly recommended upgrade

PS- If you do this PLEASE change your W5W sidelights to white LED's (£1 for 2 on ebay) so you don't look like a mis-matched wally

The HID's are legal as long as they have self leveling (ie. rocker dial, 0,1,2,3,4) and washers (not sure about the fine details but i have a nipple that dribbles onto them so technically, they have a washer on them), i have 8000k in mine

they have 16inch option so you can go up to at least 16 inches althought Oxboll a member on ere has gone up to 18inch (just do a search)

Wicked, I'll have a look on the net for some wheels and tap an email to Skoda to double check it won't affect the warranty *cough, HID kit, window smoke, LEDs all round, DRLs cough*

Hi All,

I'm thinking of getting a reasonable set of alloys for the summer, does anyone know what size etc... that I can go up to without the electronics and the ABS throwing a fit?

I'm not entirely clued up as to what to go for etc... Some suggestions of suitable wheels would be cool too

[Headlamp Condensation]

HID run a lot cooler than regular bulbs. Could be that it never gets warm enough to evaporate off the condensation. If it only gets slightly warm this would likely create more condensation. Only way to be sure is try a standard bulb back in one side

Hi All,

This is my first post on here,

Just bought my Skoda Fabia, i've also just put some DRL's and a HID conversion kit on it (8000k theyre white, they look green in the picture, this is the camera), after this i have noticed a lot of condensation build up in the lamps....

Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this?
