Waiting for my vRS...

Rubbish. No way that washing your car properly will damage the paintwork. Any damage is down to poor technique.
-
Not noticed it in the vRS to be honest. An astra hire car I had did this and it was so annoying. First time it happened I was sat revving trying to move thinking the stupid electric handbrake had seized on somehow.

3 years free servicing through Solutions

That's how it happened for me. Didn't even need to ask for it. -
Anything that ends highway is used by skoda AFAIK

+1 on this. I had a rattle from the dash above about 30mph. A good push on the surround and something clicked into place. Not heard a noise since.

Mine had about a quarter of tank in when I picked it up, first trip I made wa to Shell and filled it with V-Power. I'm surprised that over the 50 miles it's covered (including 11 delivery miles) it's averaging just over 32 mpg!

Looks identical to mine, good choice! Did it have the little decals on the wings? Sorry to hear you've had trouble with it though!

Does white do the car justice?

I picked mine up in green with black roof and wheels yesterday and it was the first time I'd seen the colour in the 'flesh' so to speak. Looks stunning and IMO miles better than the White one they had. There was also a yellow one in the showroom with black wheels and roof which looked surprisingly good but I think might be a bit more difficult to get rid of in a few years time. -
Same as mine with black roof and wheels and no extras apart from rear electric windows. More evidence that extras don't affect resale value?
-
Yep I've got the badges, was the first one they had received with them on. Photos will be added once it has stopped raining and I have cleaned it
-
I believe it's a Skoda finance deal, worth asking your dealer before you pick it up. Oh and yes I've picked it up, shame it was raining but it is an amazing car. A guy in a scirocco tried to race from the lights and was left looking a little bit silly
-
Having picked mine up today I can confirm that the vRS does come with a spare wheel as standard.

They informed me that the offer was on and resubmitted the finance documents to get the offer. Really pleased cos I'd have been none the wiser if they didn't do it and they'd have been able to take the money for servicing straight from me.
