I have been miss told the right info :'( thanks guys, see when I wanted a dump valve I was lead to belive I can't have a bailys dump valve so I got a forge 007p valve instead, it sounds good with my cai but I thought a dump valve would sound better
-
I see so if you put a forge 007p valve on the car no faults will pop up? Where with a dump valve it will? I was told that a dump valve can harm your turbo?
-
Hi all i am looking at a 2nd vrs for my partner and have found one, I looked at it today and it had a bailys dump valve on it so there is a light on the dash! It seems to pull ok but could the turbo be damaged already? As the man does not know how long it's been on there for I showed him my forge 007p valve I said this is what should be where that dump valve it!! I said I would let him know what do you think?

I think you will struggle to get a good one for that sort of money, guess if you got lucky once it might happen again?
Hi mike, I think for the age and miles for mine it was on the money? Shame skodas are not making the real money there worth I use www.wisebuyers.co.uk. Hope I get a good deal again! I think it depends on the reason the person is selling? The hunt goes on :(

I want your help to find my partner a vrs, I have one on a y plate 2001 109,000 miles full service and only paid £1600 I will pay up to £1700 cash for one with cambelt and water pump change can you help? Thanks
-
i charge £75 for gloss or matt black
Do I have to buy the stuff or is that price all in?
-
Must say it would look good on my red vrs, how much does it cost?
-
Looks nice how quick does it wear tho :wonder: ?
-
Or, by the sounds of what Ben (shark_90) is saying, if you travel to his workshop a Stage 1 remap will cost you just £164!!!
If that's the case fit me in 2moz

I had a Bluefin on my Mk2 VRS Tdi. Very good, car was as quick as a standard VRS mk2 petrol after map (verified )
Was £380 , sold it for £270 11 months later when I sold the car which is another advantage - if the unit is less than 12 months, Superchips will reset it FOC so you can sell it on. Shark has a very good reputation on here to and they do a similar STS unit. PM Ben @ Shark
I did hear shark was good also, but with this self chip systems how do you know it's worked? Would you notice the extra power that much?
-
I 100% want a remap/chip, but don't want to get ripped off
-
Just out of interest how much is the bluefin unit? As I think it may be a used one and will need to be cleared and and a new map put on it before you can use it ,see the superchips bluefin site, if you want one to do that with you can have mine for 50 pounds .....but the clearing and a new map will probably set you back 300 pounds on top of that
It's £455 just seems a lot when you can't take it to a garage and get it done, I know there is a garage down is Essex stage one remap pluss Decat and dyno run £500 :wonder: ??

Hi all so my vrs is costing me loads of ££ with tasteful mods oh well what's my partner don't know don't hurt does it? and 2day when I was looking on eBay I saw this bluefin chip devise? It states Superchips' Bluefin allows you to bring your car alive and maximise the performance of your vehicle. No mechanical or technical skills required - this allows you to DIY performance tune your car. Just simply plug-in and go. Superchips have over 27 years experience in improving vehicle performance and have remapped more than 500,000 cars. Has any1 tryed this kind of chip? If so how easy is it to do? Any change in speed ect? Thanks all.

-
