  1. Has anybody heard anything about a delay/closed ordering on SE Plus spec Yetis?

I'm looking to order a 1.2 DSG SE Plus, but the dealer can't order it due to a problem with the Kristal upholstery in the SE Plus?

Is this a known issue (and if so, how much of a delay is it) or nonsense?

    Thanks,

    Warren

  2. Hi all,

I've been asking about ordering a new Yeti SE Plus 1.2 DSG, and the dealer mentioned that there is a problem with ordering SE Plus models (something about the interior fabric, IIRC)

Is this a known issue, or just nonsense?

    Cheers,

    Warren

  3. That's like the Yeti MFSW+Phone wheel, I think.

I must admit I would prefer that to the (left-buttons only) MFSW+Phone wheel I got in my VRS. I wonder if the new "two-sided" wheel could be retrofitted to older cars?

  4. Thanks for the replies so far. Right now i'm looking for a 8 month old boy of around 24lbs but i'm interested to hear on up to 6 years as we are hoping to keep the car for a little while. As for the fit, again thats flexible and the budget isn't really a consideration.

We've got a Britax First Class Plus (http://www.britax.co.uk/car-seats/car-seats/first-class-plus) for my two-year old in my new Fabia vRS Hatch and it fits OK. It's not ISOFIX, but it's not too tricky to install. And it's dual purpose -- you can fit it forward or rear facing, depending on the age of the child, and it goes from newborn to 4 years (in theory) .

  5. Junoman,

Thanks for that. I gave Skoda Customer Services a call and was told that the spare wheel is standard on the vRS. So presumably the dealer was ... mistaken. Thanks about the heads up on the MDI cable too; I'm fully expecting them to say that the cable costs extra too now. :dull:

I'm going to pop in to the dealers tomorrow, I think.

  6. I assumed that the (standard + bluetooth + MFSW) vRS hatchback I ordered would have the spare, as it says on the website/brochure. But when I came to check the order form it says "*2010 MY Cars Are Supplied With Repair Kit in Lieu of Spare Wheel", and I've had to pay extra to get a spare fitted. When I asked about it the dealer said that Skoda have got a disclaimer stating that specifications are subject to change without notice.
