Driver's side window switches not working
Will do Pete. I'm going to have another go at it when it gets a bit warmer. I think the problem with the soldering not working was that there wasn't enough heat on the joint. I've swapped the bit for a wider one which will hopefully apply more heat. What's making it very awkward is that the wire from the plug-end is only about 25-30mm long and there's no slack in the other bit, so I'm having to splice in a short length of wire to join them.

Driver's side window switches not working
At last I've had a look at the wiring within the rubber bellows (the door had stopped locking too) and have found two broken wires. One thin one and the other one a bit thicker. My initial thought is to strip back the insulation either end, splice the wires by pushing them together and soldering the joint, covering it up with heatshrink sleeving. Acceptable? Or is there a better way? Any feedback appreciated, thank you. Cheers. Denis.

Driver's side window switches not working
The driver's side window switch has stopped working on my wife's 2014 Roomster. I thought it might be the fuse but the rear window on the same side works. The other side works too. I'd appreciate advice on what to look for (and how to gain access) eg remove plug on control module and remake as it could be a dirty connector. If I take it to the dealer will a diagnostic check pinpoint the problem? Any advice much appreciated. Thank you.
